Chapter 1 born ultima
The night Ivy Lycan was born, the sky split with silver lightning.
Aaron held tiny Ivy gently, afraid even his touch would trigger the Ultima curse. Black fur tipped the newborn’s ears, and a streak of red glowed at the edges. Her tail flicked once—sparking with energy strong enough to shatter a nearby lamp.
Aphmau panicked.
“Babe, she just blew up her nightlight!”
Aaron whispered, “She’s… an Ultima. Just like I was.”
Sylvana barged into the room wearing pajamas and holding a slipper like a weapon.
“WHAT exploded? Was it a demon? Did someone curse my grandbaby!?”
Aphmau: “Mom, please, put the slipper down.”
Sylvana: “IT’S FOR PROTECTION.”
Ivy yawned—and her tiny eyes glowed red.
Sylvana fainted on the spot.
