Summary

The story of Error Codes on My Heart begins in 2065, when the Kaverians made first contact with Earth—Terra 414, as they designated it. To them, humanity was a volatile species squandering a planet rich in resources. Their intervention was swift, decisive, and devastating: sixty-five percent of Earth’s male population was eradicated. The Kaverians claimed the act was necessary. Their civilization was matriarchal, built on maternal lineage and female governance, and they believed Earth’s survival depended on the same structure. In the aftermath, women assumed leadership across every level of society. What followed was unprecedented. Diseases were cured. Cancer vanished. The environment healed. Skies cleared, waters were purified, microplastics eradicated, and nuclear technologies dismantled. Within fifteen years, hunger disappeared, global literacy reached one hundred percent, and crime became nearly obsolete. Remaining men adapted to the new world—or were exiled to Mitania, a polar penal colony governed by re-education programs. Innovation flourished. Mechanical wombs freed women from compulsory childbirth. Autonomous transport eliminated accidents. AI nanobots repaired organs in minutes. Humanity reached heights once thought impossible. But one challenge remained unresolved: true artificial intelligence. As android development accelerates, women stand at the threshold of something unprecedented—not just machines that think, but machines that desire, attach, and break. Error Codes on My Heart is an episodic anthology set within this transformed future. Each story follows a different woman—scientist, engineer, civilian—as she collides with an android whose programming begins to fracture under the weight of intimacy, longing, and devotion. These are stories about control and consent. Creation and consequence. What it means to be chosen… and what happens when love is no longer exclusively human. This is our world now. This is our time. And the heart, even engineered, still finds ways to malfunction.

Introduction

The story began in 2065, when the Kaverians landed on Earth—Terra 414, as they called it. To them, Earth was a backwater planet rich in minerals and freshwater but inhabited by a hostile species. While the Argonians had silently patrolled Earth’s space for years, it was the Kaverians who made contact, seeking humanity’s help.

First contact, however, did not unfold as many had anticipated. A devastating outcome followed: 65% of Earth’s male population was eradicated. The Kaverians claimed this was in the best interest of Earth’s women, asserting that humanity needed female leadership to thrive.

Kaverian society was profoundly matriarchal. Women governed legislative systems and led familial structures, tracing lineage through the maternal line. It was a logical system—after all, while paternity might be uncertain, maternity never is. Humans, like most life, emerge from a womb.

In the aftermath of this seismic shift, women took charge of Earth’s recovery. The Kaverians honored their promises, curing humanity’s most debilitating diseases, eliminating cancers, and restoring Earth’s environment. They cleansed the skies, purified water sources, eradicated microplastics, and dismantled nuclear power capabilities.

With women at the helm and newfound resources, humanity achieved in fifteen years what men had not accomplished in millennia. Hunger disappeared. Societies became egalitarian. Justice systems underwent sweeping reforms. The remaining men adapted to the new order or were exiled to Mitania, a penal colony formed when the polar ice caps refroze. Re-education programs ensured future generations of men aligned with this transformed world.

The results were astounding. Gas-powered vehicles vanished, replaced by sustainable alternatives. Food became chemical-free. Global literacy reached 100%. Crime nearly disappeared. Childbirth became safe for all women, and warfare no longer erupted recklessly.

Human ingenuity flourished. Dr. Teedra O’Connor pioneered the mechanical womb for those unable or unwilling to give birth. Professor McKayla Sheridan introduced truly autonomous electric vehicles. Dr. Kenya Willis developed AI nanobots capable of performing organ repairs in minutes using her groundbreaking spacial tissue technology.

Yet one frontier remained elusive: fully-functional AI. Progress had been steady, but I know I stand on the verge of something extraordinary. I can do it. I will do it.

This is our world now. This is our time. I will make my mark.
