Alors que la frontière entre réalité et hallucination commence à se fissurer, Elena découvre une vérité terrifiante : le spécimen ne communique ni par le son ni par le langage, mais par la conscience elle-même. Il n’observe pas l’humanité. Il l’atteint. La créature n’est pas une arme. Elle n’est pas une prisonnière. Elle est un messager. Et son message est clair : la Terre est déjà condamnée.
