Summary

Spirit Wolves are rare, I was hunted, captured, and now enslaved. My blood is the only thing keeping me alive... I had to escape my life and the entire supernatural race depended on it! I was born like any other cub in our pack, surrounded by loved ones in an amazing family, but like all females born in my mothers line, I was rare. We came with magical gifts passed along our bloodline to spirit walk.. I was hidden among our pack, my parents only trusted a few friends outside our pack to keep us all hidden in a valley. BUT not all friends can be trusted.

Chapter one

I was taken the night of my parents murder, My brothers and I sound asleep in our beds, blissfully unaware of the horrors that were occurring down the hall of our very bedrooms..I was 16.

That was a now a year and half ago..

I woke up, my cell smelled of stale air and moldy food..“GET UP!” Davis screamed.. pulling me from my thoughts. I inhaled deeply and turned over. I was not in the mood for this uppity a-hole. “Get up Aiyana! I have your favourite breakfast” he spat in a sing-song voice.

WHOOSH.

I was jolted upright from being soaked with cold water. My clothes.. ratty and old as they were, are now soaked and stuck to my skin.

I pivoted quickly on my heel ready to smack Davis’s head from his bloody shoulders, when another figure came into view. I immediately lost my nerve.

“Ah Aiyana darling, causing havoc already, are we?” Seth mused. Seth towered over Davis at 6 foot with broad shoulders, muscles that covered his entire pale body, his hair was a black as the night sky, mud-brown eyes and a straight nose that bent at the bridge. My guess someone broke it. I would like to shake the hand of the person who did it.

I on the other hand was petite, with olive skin, bright mossy green eyes, brown curly hair that reached the top of my bum. “No Seth.. I would never. h-he threw water on me and I got mad” I quivered. Seth raised one of his neatly plucked eyebrow and looked at Davis.

For once he kept his mouth shut, he raised his shoulders and turned to walk down the isle, opening other cells as he went.

“Come” was all that Seth said. He turned back the way he had came, I followed at a distance. We turned many corners, up many staircases but I was too cold to concentrate.

I tried to remember as much as could, so I could continue my plan to escape. I had many of the halls down pat, from my time in the many rooms Seth would take me to. But the doors were always locked, I just needed a opportunity, a key or a cracked window. Anything.

Seth came to a halt at the end of a wide concrete hall. Pulling me from my thoughts, I looked around quickly while he had his back towards me, concrete, no other doors, or windows, bloody nothing!

He knocked twice before the other side opened, no handles from this side.. I was officially nervous.

“We are ready for the procedure sir” a short dark skinned man, with deep brown, almost black eyes nodded.

He was short but He could probably kill me if he absolutely needed to. I pulled up my guard, I need to be on high alert.. wait what procedure?

My mind immediately went into hyper drive. No no no. I slowly came to the realise where I am, women came into this room but rarely ever, come out.

“Wonderful Dr Frank, I’ll be in my office if you need anything” Seth shook Dr Franks hand.

Seth turned his attention towards me and grabbed my arm softy, as if to think if he had grabbed me to hard I would break, he thrust me into the room and I was immediately blinded. White walls, white floors, beds and medical equipment encircled the room.

“Take care of this one, she is special.” Dr frank nodded towards Seth, but he had already left.

“RESTRAIN HER! NOW!” was the last thing I heard as I was strapped onto a medical bed. I fought, screamed, kicked, and punched everyone that came close, in the end several nurses, men and Dr Frank surrounding me.

The doc pulled a massive needle from his silver tray, and stabbed my arm.. Darkness consumed me.
