Summary

A Deicider belonging to a fellowship created to hunt the supernatural that endangers humanity confronts a monster whose presence threatens a coven of freaks, creatures born of superstition and magic, who themselves prey upon an innocent town. In the course of this hunt, he encounters a being his vocation has prepared him for his entire life: a goddess who has failed to fulfill her duties to her worshippers. A goddess awaiting his judgment. To decide which evil must be destroyed and which may be spared is the burden of every Deicider. For one still wet behind the ears, such judgment can only be learned through experience.

Introduction

You may notice that each prologue differs greatly from the chapters that follow. Each prologue continues the prologue from the previous book.

That is intentional.

The chapters are told through a Third-Person Limited perspective, while the prologues follow an Omniscient narration. The reason for this choice will become clear as the story unfolds.

Until then, enjoy the tales he weaves.

Bargara4670: I have marked the ratings down because it was obviously originally written in a foreign language and translated into English. I hope that whoever edited the second half will go back and do the same to the first half. Having said that, this was a well-thought-out plot which kept me interested enough ...

How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
