The inheritance of blood & legacy

Summary

Eliana Russo grew up close enough to the mafia to know its rules and far enough to believe she could survive it. When her father, the trusted right hand to one of New York's most powerful crime families, is murdered in their home, Eliana escapes with blood on her hands and knowledge she never wanted. Power shifts quickly. Old loyalties fracture. And when Kian Moretti rises to claim the empire her father once helped hold together, Eliana finds herself pulled back into a world she barely escaped not as a player, but as a liability no one saw coming. What begins as vengeance turns into proximity. Proximity into attachment. And attachment into something far more dangerous in a world that punishes intimacy. As enemies watch and weaknesses are tested, Eliana learns that survival near power requires silence, precision, and the ability to live with consequences long before they arrive. In a world built on loyalty and blood, love is never neutral.

Author's Note/cast

This is not a traditional mafia romance.

This story explores power, legacy, silence, and the consequences of proximity to violence. Characters make choices with full awareness of what those choices cost. Love exists here, but it does not redeem, soften, or protect.

This story contains mature content, including explicit sexual scenes, violence, and emotionally heavy themes. Nothing is written for shock value alone every action has weight, and every choice carries consequences.

If you're looking for a story where love fixes everything, this may not be it.

If you're looking for a story about inheritance, survival, and what power takes from the people closest to it welcome.
