What is your opinion?

A huge hug

"I read Wake Up Call, and I have to be honest, I had to take a moment to just sit and cry. This isn't just a book; it’s a raw, brave, and incredibly personal window into a life that many of us see but few truly understand. Cryptic Edwards shares her journey living with epilepsy, and the most heartbreaking part is her description of putting on a mask. The pressure to appear healthy and normal"for the sake of others, while privately dealing with the exhaustion of constant medication and the fear of the next seizure, is a burden no one should have to carry alone. This book gives a voice to that silent struggle. However, amidst the pain and the tiredness of the daily grind, there is so much beauty. The way she speaks about her son as a gift from God is absolutely soul-stirring. It’s clear that he is the anchor that makes the unbearable feel bearable, and the pain-reducer that keeps her moving forward. Seeing that transition from the darkness of a diagnosis to the light of motherhood was truly inspiring. My darling, I want you to know how proud I am of you. You are the definition of strong and resilient. Thank you for being a survivor and for having the strength to take off the mask and give us this vital insight into epilepsy. You are helping so many people feel less alone. Please, please keep writing, your voice is a gift to us all!"

A window to another world

"This book will give you a new perspective. You will feel every single emotion, the same exact feelings. But the way that this author frames ot makes it a hidden strength. They turn it around and show you just how much you can handle. This is a wonderful short story. I would reccomend this to numerous people. "

A personal story that deeply touched my soul

"I have no words to describe how proud I felt for the author. 💖💖💖 As someone who is not dealing with epilepsy, I was very sad and shocked to read about their daily struggles and pains. Those lines made me teary and heartbroken but also very grateful for the strength and the courage of the author. Because she overcame the pain and the suffering! The story felt so real, so raw and painful but also very inspiring! As a mother myself, I also know what's like to fight for them, to take care of them and protect them from the world, despite the fact that we also need someone to take care and protect us at the same time. Amazing person, a hero and gentle soul - this is what I see between the lines. Also a warrior. A writer and a mother. I am sending you lots of love and support, my dear! Thank you for sharing your life with us! 💖💖💖"

RAW and REAL

"Honestly, this is so raw and real. Thank you for letting us see that side of you. It takes a lot of courage to open up like that and let people see what truly haunts you — what turns every single day into a challenge. Your strength and your resilience are seriously inspiring. It’s not an easy fight, but you’re handling it, and you keep holding on to the good in life. Keep shining. Thank you for sharing something so powerful and personal. 🩶🫂"

Scary, But Real

"An intense, introspective look on a very touchy subject. Epilepsy is a hard thing to write, and an even harder thing to deal with in real life. The author has my deepest, most heartfelt wishes."
