Chapter 1
September 9th 2014
Louise wakes up in her grandparents two bedroom house in Avenham as they had to move from Brookfield after what Louise did. She has to go into town today and sign on at the job centre as her grandparents can’t afford to keep her. The Hunters Council doesn’t exist in this world and there for her grandparents are poor and living off disability, pension and Universal Credit. She gets showered and dressed and heads downstairs where her grandparents are sitting in the living room. One thing about this world is that her grandparents look entirely different to her grandparents, while she looks the same. She found out that her mum and siblings all look different on this world. Being locked up from 10 years old means that she doesn’t smoke so Louise sees that as a plus.
“Are you going somewhere Lou?” Her Nana asked.
“Yea, going to sign on at the job centre as you two can’t afford to keep me, I heard you on the phone last night to auntie Nora and she doesn’t sound happy that you’ve took me in.” Louise tells her.
“You are ill sweetheart and we want to help you.” Ruth says to her. “I know and I want to get better, but I also need a job to help out. So please nan let me do this.” Louise says to her.
“Fine and please be careful and don’t get into trouble.” Ruth begged her.
“I won’t, straight into town, might look for a job and then straight back.” Louise promised her.
Louise has to wear a tracking bracelet and she has to be in for a certain time. She has to go to probation once a week and see a doctor twice a week who will be coming to her grandparents house tomorrow. Louise really hopes it’s not doctor King as she might kill him to see if that sends her back to her world. Louise heads out and walks into town, she stops outside of BDA Enterprises, and walks over to the building and sees a large man at the door who she hopes is Keith.
“Hay Keith.” She says.
“Hi. Do I know you?” He asked.
“No, I just wanted to confuse you as I heard your radio call you Keith.” She says with a smile.
“Ha good one.” He says and can’t help but check her out.
“Does a James Butcher work here by any chance?” She asked him.
“Yea he’s head of security. Do you know him?” He asked her.
“I’m his stepdaughter Louise and I’d like to speak to him if possible?” Louise asked him, he grabs his radio.
“Hay Jasper your daughter is here to see you.” Keith says.
“Okay let her in, tell her to wait in the lobby.” James says and Louise has to admit that he sounded different, then she hears a sonic boom in the sky and looks up to see someone flying away.
“Who was that?” Louise asked Keith.
“What? Have you been living under a rock? That’s Captain Omega.” He tells her then opens the door for her to enter the building.
“That doctor King said that there was no Hunters here so what the fuck is Ben?” She asked herself as she goes to sit in the lobby.
A man comes into the lobby who she doesn’t recognise dressed as security and looks at Louise and has no clue who she is.
“Hi can I help you?” James says to her, she looks at the name tag and realises that it’s her stepdad.
“Hay Jasper, it’s me Louise.” She tells him.
“Why have you come here?” He asked her quite angrily.
“I was released the other day, I remember you working here and came to see if you still did. I’m sorry for the pain and upset that I’ve caused you.” She tells him.
“Doesn’t change what you did and what you did to that boy and the agro it caused everyone.” He scolds her.
“I know it doesn’t, mums dead, my siblings won’t talk to me. I feel so alone. I was on the way to the job centre as Nana and grandad can’t afford to keep me.” She tells him.
“What sort of job are you looking for?” He asked her as he does feel sorry for her.
“I’ve been locked up in an Asylum since I was 10 so it’s not like I’m qualified to do much.” She say to him.
“I could get you a cleaning job here if you like?” He asked her.
“I’d like that, thanks dad.” She says to him.
“Don’t call me that, I tried and failed. But I will help you out, don’t fucking let me down Lou.” He says and she can hear the anger in his voice.
“I promise I won’t.” She tells him.
“Good come with me and we’ll get everything sorted.” James says to her.
A few hours later after having a tour of where she’ll be cleaning, Louise heads back down to the lobby to leave and bumps into a large man.
“Sorry.” She says and looks up, it’s Ben looking down at her and it’s actually Ben in a three piece blue suit and glasses on.
“My apologies miss.” He says to her.
“It’s my fault, I wasn’t watching where I was going. I’m Louise.” She says and holds out her hand, he takes it.
“Ben, it’s a pleasure to meet you Louise.” He says and shakes her hand, he’s completely mesmerised by her.
“Do you work here?” She asked playing dumb.
“I do actually, do you as I’ve never seen you before and I’m good with faces especially one as beautiful as yours.” He says to her.
“Does that line usually work Ben?” Louise asked him.
“Wasn’t a line, just stating a fact.” Ben tells her.
“Well that’s nice to know and yes I start working here tomorrow as a cleaner.” Louise tells him with a smile.
“Have you been given the tour as I’d be more than happy to show you around.” He says to her.
“I have, but that’s very kind of you Ben.” Louise says with a smile.
“Well I look forward to seeing you around tomorrow then.” Ben states still holding her hand like neither want to let go.
“Yes of course, I look forward to it. As long as you’re not too busy flying around.” Louise says to him and let’s go of his hand, he stares at her with wide eyes, she walks off and looks back to wave at him and he waves back.
“Is everything okay sir?” James asked from behind Ben.
“Yea, who was that woman?” Ben asked.
“Louise Johnston sir, I used to date her mother. I got her a job here as a cleaner out of curtesy to her mum who died several days ago.” James says to him.
“That’s the funeral which you are attending on Friday right?” Ben asked him.
“Yes sir, is that okay with her being here as a cleaner?” He asked as he knows Ben is going to look up Louise.
“There’s something peculiar about her.” Ben says to James.
“I have to tell you sir that Louise has just been released from Whittingham Asylum, she killed a teenage boy when she was 10 claiming that he was a demon trying to kill her friends.” James says to him, Ben turns and looks at him.
“A bit to obsessed with Buffy?” Ben asked.
“You’d think that as she said she was a Vampire Hunter, but Buffy wasn’t even out in England when she did that. Plus me and her mum wouldn’t of let her watch that at 10 years old.” James explained to him.
“Very peculiar indeed.” Ben says and walks away.
September 10th
BDA Enterprises and its mid day and Louise is on her break in the staff canteen, she honestly didn’t know this was here as she normally goes to the canteen downstairs and gets proper food. When she got home yesterday she was very excited to tell her grandparents about her new job and the fact that she got to speak to Jasper. James pops his head into the canteen and looks at Louise.
“The owner wants to speak to you now, what have you done?” He asked her and everyone looks at her.
“Nothing, I’ve cleaned and kept my head down, go check your cameras if you don’t believe me.” Louise shoots back at him, she gets up and follows him up to Bens office, Ben is standing at the window in a dark three piece suit and his glasses on.
“That will be all James I can take it from here.” Ben says to him, James just turns and climbs back into the lift.
“You wanted to see me?” Louise asked as she looks around the office which is very different to her office.
Ben normally has memorabilia around his office, like his Pele football shirt, his superman comics. But it’s quite bare except for a picture on his desk of an old lady.
“I did, please take a seat.” Ben says and indicates to the seating area, Louise does as he suggested and sits down.
“I’m assuming that you did a background check on me. For my defence I was mentally ill.” Louise tells him.
“Are okay now?” He asked as he sat across from her.
“I’ve been in a padded cell for over a decade, the world I remember is completely different, my mum is dead, my siblings won’t talk to me and oh yes there’s a guy who can fly.” She says and looks hard at Ben when she says the last part.
“So no Ben I’m not okay.” Louise says to him.
“It’s understandable how things have changed over the last decade, Captain Omega has been a bit of a surprise for the whole planet. Finding out that an alien life is out there.” Ben explains to her.
“Alien? Like Superman?” She asked confused.
“I have no clue who superman is.” Ben says.
“Superman. The comic book superhero, his parents sent him to earth from the planet Krypton as it was about to explode. He landed in Smallville Kansas and was raised by the Kent’s on a farm. He grew up as Clark Kent and became a bumbling reporter to hide his identity as Superman.” Louise tells him.
“I’m sorry but I’ve never heard of this superman before, but I did read comics growing up, Captain America and Spider-Man was my favourite.” Ben explains to her.
“Batman? Flash? Wonder Woman?” Louise asked him and Ben has a blank expression on his face.
“DC Comics doesn’t exist in this world but Marvel does. Ben would be so proud of me for knowing that.” Louise says in her head.
“Can’t say I have, but this superman character intrigues me.” Ben says to her.
“Why because you’re Captain Omega?” Louise asked him straight out.
“No. You think I’m him?” He asked her nervously.
“Don’t think, I know you are, telling you about superman made you uncomfortable almost like it was similar to your life. Omegalings if I’m not mistaken from the planet Omega.” Louise says to Ben and his eyes widened at this as that information isn’t public knowledge.
“How do you know that?” He asked her.
“Am I right?” She asked.
“Yes I am him, how do you know where I’m from as it’s not public knowledge?” Ben asked asked her.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.” Louise tells him.
“Try me.” He says to her.
“I’m quite an observant person, years of being alone. You don’t need to worry as one I won’t tell anyone and two you can say I’m crazy.” Louise lied to him as she doesn’t know who she can trust in this world.
“That’s very true, but I wouldn’t do that.” Ben says to her as he knows part of what she said was a lie.
“That’s maybe the case, but I don’t trust anyone.” She tells him, and she sees a blinking light on the ceiling.
“You know my biggest secret so why don’t you try and tell me the truth.” He states.
“I’ll pass, if that’s all I really should be back at work. To prove that I’m telling the truth, I know that you have a AI system which runs this whole building. I want to say she’s called Shannon, maybe Athena but I could be wrong.” Louise says to him.
“I do have an AI but it’s not one of them names. You know more than you’re letting on. K7 please bring up everything you have on Louise Johnston please.” Ben says and the screen on the wall fires up and it’s a video of a 10 year old Louise ranting about vampires and demons.
Then another video from a few years ago talking about her husband Benjamin Asmall and there twins Jacob and Aria.
“Your not from this world are you?” Ben asked her, Louise is looking at the screen with tears in her eyes.
“No. Angel King trapped me in this world. I was in a fight against Absalom, trying to stop him from killing my husband and he attacked me. I held up my weapon and there was a huge flash of light and when it died down I was in a padded cell.” Louise tells him with a sob.
“I need to get back to my babies.” She cried.
“Did you get all that K7?” Ben asked.
“I did sir, I’ve informed the authorities to come and collect miss Johnston.” It says.
“What?” Louise screams out and looks at Ben hurt and he transforms into Angel King.
“Oh you silly little girl, do you really think I’d have your idiot husband flying around saving people.” He says laughing and clicks his fingers and Louise is in a white room.
“Where am I?” She asked him.
“You was in a simulation, now you’re on my ship which is at the far reaches of my empire.” Havi tells her.
“My family will find me.” Louise says to him.
“I very much doubt it. Only my kins power works on this ship, and if you step out of this room you will die as your lungs are not compatible with my ship’s atmosphere. We are several light years from earth, not even Jophiel can sense you here.” He explains to her, then with a wave of his hand several screens appear and Louise is watching her family.
She sees Ben just sat on the sofa drinking lots of rum as theres several empty bottles on the floor. Louise looks over and sees her babies at her parents house.
“How long have I been gone from their perspective?” Louise asked him.
“Over a month, it’s the middle of October, ooh this is my best part.” Angel says to her and points to the screen where Ben is and sees Beth walk through the front door dressed in a short pleated black skirt and a black low cut top with several shopping bags in hand.
October 18th 2014
Beth has been finishing work and coming round to see Ben, Brian has been looking after Davina or her mum does. She grabbed some basic shopping for him and got them both a takeaway. Ever since the funeral Ben has completely cut himself off from everyone, he goes and sees the twins every now and again. Joy had to take them as she could see he wasn’t coping well with the loss of Louise.
“Hay Ben, just grabbed you a few bits.” She says. Ben stands up from the sofa completely sober despite how much he’s drank.
“You don’t need to do this Beth, I’m coping on my own.” He tells her, this makes Beth laugh.
“Yea, it really looks like you’re coping on your own.” She says to him sarcastically as she looks at the empty bottles of rum, and the state of the house.
“I don’t need your sarcasm Beth. You have no idea what I’m going through.” Ben snapped at her.
“Oh I don’t. I’m pretty sure that I lost a parent to my child also, so I’m probably the only person who knows what you’re going through.” She snapped back at him.
“You didn’t even love Dave.” Ben says to her angrily.
“Your right I wasn’t in love with him. I did love him though, he was the best guy I ever met. I hate that Davina will grow up without knowing her father and he would have been the best dad.” Beth tells him.
“I’m sorry. What I don’t understand is why you keep coming here.” Ben says to her.
“Because like I said I know what you’re going through and I lost my best friend too Ben.” Beth says to him.
“I just meant that we are not close. Kat, Stuart, Daniel, Antony and Amy come regularly to see me. Prue, Hallie, Hayley and Natalie even Chris comes to see me. I get them as there family and my closet friends. You I don’t understand.” Ben states as he’s been very confused by her presence.
“Wow you really don’t like people being there for you, maybe I want to be here because I don’t have anyone that understands.” Beth says to him as she begins to cry. Ben goes and hugs her and holds her in his arms as she’s cried into his chest.
“What about Brian?” Ben asked her. Before she can answer Louise comes into the room.
“Is everything okay? I heard crying.” She says in a monotone voice.
“Because of her, how can I tell Brian that my best friend is dead when she’s walking around.” Beth explains to him.
“I get it, it’s why I let Joy take the twins as I don’t want that thing around my kids.” Ben says angrily. Phoebe, Matilda and Hallie created this advanced robot to make the world believe that Louise is still alive until they can figure out what happened to her body.
“I don’t blame ya, how long is she here for?” Beth asked him as they break there embrace.
“They told me before Christmas.” Ben says to her.
“You talk like I’m not here cunty.” Robot Louise says, Ben glares at it.
“Stop calling me that.” He says angrily.
“My apologies husband, I’ll clean up your bottles. It wouldn’t kill you to clean up after yourself, you spoiled child.” Robot Louise says with a chuckle.
“It’s so really, it’s scary.” Beth says.
“You have no idea. Apparently Shannon downloaded every conversation Louise has ever had, plus all her fighting abilities, she actually goes on patrol also.” Ben tells her.
“When my friend Beth leaves maybe we can partake in some sex.” Robot Louise says to Ben, Beth looks at him strangely.
“Have you two?” Beth asked him.
“God no, that’s just weird. She stays upstairs on the top floor.” Ben explained to her.
“Okay, I believe you, many wouldn’t.” Beth winks at him and giggles.
“Fuck you. Sex is the last thing on my mind.” Ben chuckles at her.
“It’s good to see you laughing, let’s put this food away.” Beth says and heads into the kitchen.
“Thanks and I’ll let you go as you are obviously on your way out.” Ben states as he eyes up her outfit.
“Yea and you are coming with me, you need to relax and get out of this house. It’s not healthy Ben, even Captain Omega hasn’t been seen.” Beth tells him.
“Ooh dancing, I like to dance.” Robot Louise says with excitement.
“Take her with you as I ain’t going anywhere.” Ben states, then Krypto barks at Beth.
“Just shut up you.” Beth says to the dog.
“What did he say?” Ben asked.
“He’s being cheeky again to me, and if he carries on I’ll stop bringing him treats.” She says and pulls out a bag of dog treats for the dog, he snorts at her and walks away.
“Fuck you to Krippy.” She called after him.
“You two have really been at odds since.” Ben begins to say and looks at robot Louise who is cleaning up.
“Fuck it, he thinks I’m coming round to replace his mummy.” Beth tells him.
“Krypto. No one can replace your mummy mate.” Ben called after him, he hears a bark, Ben looks at Beth.
“Oh you don’t want to know. So get upstairs and take a shower as you stink then we can get some food and go out.” Beth says to him.
“I ain’t going out.” He states, Beth folds her arms and taps her foot.
“Oh you are, even if I have to shower and dress you myself.” She tells him, Ben stares at her for a moment and can actually see that she’s serious.
“We’ll come on then as you can help with the hard to reach places.” Ben says with his trademark smirk.
“How about you do it yourself as you are a big boy.” She says to him, Ben smiles at this and heads upstairs.
If she actually tries to get in the bathroom with him then he’d know what she was after.
Several hours later Ben and Beth are just finishing eating there food in a restaurant. Ben is in a light blue shirt with jeans and his glasses on.
“You was right Beth, I needed this.” Ben says to her as they’ve been talking and laughing most of the night. Beth has told him about work and Davina while Ben listened intently to her.
“I’m glad and the food was really good.” Beth says to him.
“Yea it really was, how about instead of going clubbing we go to a pub, few games of pool or just sit and chat?” He asked her, she twirled her finger through her hair.
“Well I had my heart on dancing, but if you ain’t ready then a pub sounds good.” She says with a smile.
“Good, just let me pay and we’ll go.” Ben says with a smile.
On board Angel Kings ship Louise is sat watching the tv screens, her twins are in bed, she’s mainly watching Beth and Ben. A door opens and in steps Lamashtu in her human features is dressed in a white vest and blue jeans holding a tray of food and some water.
“My father thought you might be hungry.” Lamashtu says to Louise.
“Who are you?” Louise asked as she eyed up the beautiful brunette.
“I’ve gone by many names, but you may know me as Lamashtu.” She tells her, Louise jumps back and gets into a fighting position, which makes Lamashtu laugh.
“Calm yourself child, I’m not here to harm you. I’m actually here to help you.” She says and then with a wave of her hand a shower is in the corner, a large bed and a wardrobe full with clothes for Louise.
“Whats all this?” Louise asked while keeping her distance.
“A shower and a bed, as well as a change of clothes for you.” Lamashtu explained to her.
“I can see that, but why are you being so nice to me as I was going to kill you?” Louise asked her.
“Satan killed the love of my life and I believe you and your team can stop him.” She tells Louise.
“Lamashtu? Your father is Anuel. You said father but I was told that Satan killed him.” Louise states.
“He set him free from his prison under that mountain in Scotland.” Lamashtu tells her.
“Angel King is Anuel?” Louise asked her.
“Yes, but we are at odds. My father kidnapped you for Satan as a thank you for freeing him. I want Satan dead.” She spits out in anger.
“He’s locked up in Tartarus, chained to the very pits.” Louise tells her.
“What of his child?” She asks Louise.
“It was taken and we never found out who took him.” Louise explains to her.
“Well he’s not a baby no more, a late teenager at best. Once he’s fully mature he’ll be Satan again. I want to kill him before he reaches maturity.” Lamashtu tells her, then makes a table and chairs and places the food on the table and sits down, then with a wave of her hand the screens change to a large one of Phoebe and Matilda in there pjs sitting on Matilda’s bedroom floor having a pamper.
Phoebe is painting her toenails while Matilda is painting her fingernails, they both have a glass of wine next to them selves and a pile of books in between them.
“I’m coming up squat.” Phoebe says and throws her book down.
“Snap, but we have confirmed that she’s not dead.” Matilda states.
“Well try calling on a lost sister again.” Phoebe tells her.
“I’ve tried and better tried, it doesn’t work.” Matilda states as she’s getting frustrated about the whole situation.
“That must mean she dead right?” Phoebe asked her.
“No, I spoke to Azzy and she confirmed that she isn’t dead. Jophiel can’t even sense her apparently.” Matilda tells her.
“She has to be in Hell then.” Phoebe suggested.
“Again Aurora confirmed that she isn’t in Hell when she came two weeks ago to see the twins.” Matilda states.
“Well we can’t actually take her word for it. Do you fancy going to the pub for a bit?” Phoebe asked as she stands up.
“I could use the break, let’s go Hesketh for a few.” Matilda says and clicks her fingers and they’re both dressed.
Phoebe is in black leather pants with a purple vest top and a waist length leather jacket, Matilda is in red leather pants, a blue vest jacket which shows off her black bra.
“Well you’re paying so I ain’t assed where we go.” Phoebe laughed and nods in approval of her outfit, as she checks her ass out in Matilda’s mirror.
They head out and link arms all the way to the pub, both with cigarettes in there mouths. When they arrive at the pub they look into the pool room and see a red head bent over the table trying to take a shot and they get a clear view up her short black skirt.
“I didn’t need to see that but she does have a nice ass.” Matilda states and Phoebe looks at her sister shocked. Long gone is the young prude that she grew up with.
“Good shot Beth.” They hear Bens voice and poke there heads into the pool room and see Ben with a pint of Guinness in hand watching Beth.
“Hay Ben.” Matilda says to him, he turns and looks.
“Hay girls, what are you doing here?” He asked all sheepishly like he’s been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
“Oh hay you two, you want to play?” Beth asked them, they ignored her and stare at Ben with there arms folded and begin tapping their feet waiting for an answer.
“Beth has been coming round and we went for a meal and decided to go for a drink.” Ben tells them.
“I actually wanted to go dancing, but I don’t think he’s ready for big crowds just yet.” Beth tells them, as she walks and stands awfully close to Ben, and the girls glare at her.
“Seriously Beth, Louise hasn’t been gone that long and your trying to weasel your way into Ben.” Phoebe says to her.
“It’s not like that.” She says to them.
“She’s just being a friend, if I wanted to have sex I’d shag that creepy robot that you put in my house.” Ben says with an angry voice.
“I’m with Brian.” Beth defends herself.
“Yet you smell like Nick.” Matilda states. Ever since she slept with Nick she’s been sleeping with him every chance she gets, she’s even slept with Neil a couple of times behind Brian’s back.
“I try to do something nice for Ben as no one else gives a shit about him and I’m the bad guy. I’m going to the bathroom and I’ll get us another drink Ben.” Beth says and walks past the girls.
“She really is being nice and it’s not like that.” Ben defended Beth, even though everyone has told him for months that she wanted to sleep with him, even Louise said it.
“Ben she’s trying to seduce you. How can you not see it?” Phoebe asked him.
“She’s just friendly and it’s not like that, we’re just having a few drinks and a couple of games of pool. She even invited you to join us, so it’s not anything that you’re thinking.” Ben tells them, Matilda actually watched him watch Beth walk away.
“Oh my god. You’re actually thinking about sleeping with her?” She asked him.
“I’m not thinking about anything of the sort. I’ve just lost my wife, being with anyone is the last thing on my mind so drop it now.” He yelled at them.
“But you fancy her though?” Matilda asked him.
“She’s very attractive, but so are you two. Doesn’t mean I’m going to sleep with you two because I said that you’re attractive.” Ben tells them.
“Fine, but Louise isn’t dead. Azrael has confirmed it and she’s not in Hell as Rory confirmed that. Where ever Lou is Jophiel can’t sense her.” Matilda tells him.
“You have until December to find her or me and the twins are leaving. I’m done with this world if Louise isn’t in it.” Ben tells them.
“You can’t take the twin Ben, that would devastate our mum.” Matilda tells him.
“I ain’t going to another planet Tilly, we’re going to move to my Manchester home with Sabrina and Vincent.” Ben tells her.
“What about work and the school which Louise built for them?” Matilda asked him.
“I ain’t going back to work, can’t stay in that house, can’t stay in Preston. Everything reminds me of Louise and it’s driving me nuts. The twins will be going to a magical school with Vincent, they start in January.” Ben tells them. Beth comes back with a pint for Ben and a bottle of wine with three glasses.
“So are you two staying or what?” She asked with a smile.
“Yea we’ll stay.” Phoebe says and snatched a glass and the bottle.
“Guess we’re staying.” Matilda says and keeps her eyes fixed on Beth.
Over in Los Angeles it’s mid afternoon when Katherine climbs out of bed naked. Katherine looks to the empty space next to her and shakes her head. The room smells of sex, she grabs one of Tyrone’s shirts and heads downstairs not bothering to button up the shirt. She smells food as she heads downstairs and into the kitchen where she finds Tyrone in just a black pair of boxers.
“Hay sleepy head, I’ve made bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, toast, pancakes and a fresh brew of coffee is in the pot.” He says to her, she kisses his cheek.
“What did I do to deserve you Ty?” She asked him, he grabs her and picks her up then places her on the countertop.
“You’re a princess and deserve to be treated as such.” He tells her, Katherine attacks his mouth, their tongues interlock in each other’s mouths, his hands run up her smooth thighs, she gently pushes him away.
“One I’m starving as you made me work up an appetite last night and two I should never have told you that I’m a princess.” Katherine laughs, Tyrone steps back and chuckles at this then goes back to plating up the food.
“Do you know what I find funny about you being a princess?” He asked her as they go and sit at the kitchen table.
“Please enlighten me.” Katherine says as she begins to eat her food. “It’s the fact that you don’t act like a princess, you’re very tomboyish.” He says to her, Katherine can’t help but laugh.
“I’ve always been like that, my parents hated it. Amy was the same but more extreme than me.” Katherine explains to him.
“What do you mean more extreme?” Tyrone asked her.
“My handmaids were more like friends than servants and they would dare me to do things. One time I was dared to walk through the Ledger estate naked and speak to our butler is the best way to call him and walk back.” She says to him,
Tyrone almost chokes on his food laughing as he could picture her doing it as she’s actually answered the front door naked before now.
“I assume that you did it.” He says to her laughing.
“Of course, I’ve never shied away from friendly competition. Amy would drink in the local taverns and fight grown men, her brother taught her to fight from a young age.” Katherine explained to him.
“That I believe as she was like that at school, nobody messed with Amy. A few of the jocks found out the hard way.” He laughs.
“It’s strange that the Amy you know is so different to the one I knew. The one I knew was a monster, she wasn’t called the third vicious vampire for no reason. The one you knew was filled with guilt for over a century.” Katherine says to him, now she has a soul she gets it. Some nights she wakes up in a panic hearing screams from her victims. Since becoming Abandons Champion the voices and nightmares have practically disappeared.
“You and Amon were top two right?” He asked her.
“Yes, but it should have been Persephone in the number one spot as that woman is deranged and so vicious. She just didn’t care about anything but her looks and what people thought of her. She’s different now and I don’t know what’s changed as she was amazing in that battlefield.” Katherine tells him.
Over on the eastern seaboard of New York it’s late morning and Persephone dressed in black gym shorts and a black sports bra is in the her gym bag on the mat fighting Clare, Mercy and Kal at the same time. Clare is in a black sports bra with black gym leggings, Kal is in shorts and Mercy is dressed in red gym shorts with a matching red sports bra.
They have staffs to fight Persephone who is fighting with her bare hands. Persephone has always trained to stay in shape, but since Amon left her she actually pushed herself to be better and trained all around the world with different teachers to better herself. She knows that she’d never beat any of Bens top fighters in a one on one but she’d kill the weaker ones. Persephone actually recorded the battle last month and has been watching it intently to pick out the easiest prey and who to avoid. Being a vampire isn’t just about death and destruction it’s also about survival and the survival of her coven.
Kal is kneeling on the floor hold his crotch, Mercy is holding her head on the floor. Clare swings her staff at Persephone who catches it, then snaps the end and rams it into Clare’s stomach and she screams out in pain. Persephone steps back and observes her work with a smile.
“Better than last week.” She says and goes to grab her towel and her bottle of water.
Clare pulls out the stick from her stomach and vamps out, she then charges at Persephone in anger with the stake raised. She goes to stab her but as the stake comes down to her back Persephone has disappeared. Clare then feels her neck being snapped.
“What mistake did she make?” Persephone asked the two fledglings.
“Thinking that she could kill you mistress.” Mercy says as she gets to her feet, Persephone just shakes her head and looks at Kal.
“I don’t bloody no. I can’t think straight as you kicked me in my fucking balls!” He yelled at her.
“Don’t leave yourself open then dipshit. Her mistake was letting her anger consume her. Yes anger can be a great motivator but you can’t let it control your actions. That’s it for today, do what you want as I’m going for a bath.” Persephone says and leaves the gym and heads up to her room, she hears the bath running, it stops and a male minion steps out.
He sees Persephone and bows his head to her and goes to leave.
“Stay, you can help scrub my back.” She tells him and begins to strip off.
“Of course mistress.” He says and they both head back into the bathroom.
