"Very interesting story! I commend you for presenting all this complicated eye degeneration stuff in such a simple way that it's easy to relate to. I am nothing like the main character at all, but I felt very connected to him somehow. And I'm very, very intrigued by these "hallucinations" he's seeing. The story has such a nice/subtle creepy vibe to it. Keep up the good work! I'm eager to read more."

"This is descriptive story telling at its best. I love how the author is able to describe the scene and be able to picture it in my head perfectly. I also liked the sense of dread coming from the main character. Am really looking forward to reading more if the author decides to continue with the story. Am now completely fascinated with "legion". I feel scared.
"Once again Richard has hit the mark with aplomb. Every short story he releases on here just gets better and better. This small tale has sent shivers down my spine. I have not felt that in a long time, and it made me feel like heading for the underside of the duvet to escape the characters' chilling visions. This work is well executed, perfectly balanced and less descriptive than his other stories (an improvement). This gives the reader more to think about. I will never look at 'Punch' in the same way again. Well done on a very scary piece of writing. Yours, A slightly scared 42 year old."
Beautiful writing
"You are one of my favorite authors on the Inkitt site. I love the details that go into your writing. All the specific terms and details served to draw me further into the story. Also, I really liked the dialogue. So many people slack off on the dialogue or make it sloppy, but it lends so much to the characters in this story. I have to say, I didn't quite understand the ending, but it was still very enjoyable. I can't wait to see what you come out with next."
Very Intriguing!
"This story does a good job of enveloping the reader into the story right away. The most important part of a story is the intro, captivating your audience, and the author does this brilliantly, with a discussion between a doctor (well described as burly and Scottish, and interesting and great choice) and a patient. Then, the next important thing is to keep the audience interested, even after the introduction. This is done brilliantly as well. Besides a couple technical slip-ups here and there (it happens to the best of us) I don't find many problems with this story at all. I get a very Fran Bow-esque theme to this, and I love every moment of it! Props to the author for making a creative and new horror story. These days, most horror tropes are repeated in every story, but with an interesting main character with interesting problems, this is definitely unique and a great read."
