The most important being that the entire world must benefit from this. The United States, paranoid about the growing Soviet Union and confident in their own country's growth, refuses to share resources freely. Gerald denounces his US citizenship and flees to his ancestral home of Ukraine.

March 12th, 1923: Gerald Robotnik began spreading the news of Mobius and Chaos Energy throughout Eastern Europe. By June, he had orchestrated an alliance between the nations of Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan. This got the attention of an ailing and semi-retired Vladimir Lenin

January 21st, 1924: Vladimir Lenin passes from health complications. Leon Trotsky, officially named as Lenin's successor, became leader of the Soviet Union. But they did not officially join the growing Federation movement. Trotsky's logic was that publicly announcing the alliance would draw negative attention from the United States and other potential enemies. But they would be a silent supporter of the growing movement until Russia was in a more powerful position politically. The Union now included Kazakhstan, Estonia, and Latvia, and was moving into Asia with Armenia.

March 7th, 1924: The first Mobian immigrants arrived in the growing Federation, bringing Chaos Energy and other elements of their homeland, announcing their presence to the world at large

August 13th, 1938: All the militaries of the Federation's nations are dissolved and absorbed into one entity: The Guardian Units of Nations. Development of CE-based weaponry begins, as well as the construction of the Space Colony ARK

December 7th, 1941: The Metarex Invasion begins. Earth's first confirmed encounter with extraterrestrial life. The War lasted three months, with the CE weaponry and the power of Meta-Mobians giving the Federation the edge they needed to fight back. The US suffered the most casualties due to the government's refusal to participate in the CE trade. Finally having had enough, the American people overthrew the remnants of the government and joined the Federation. Gerald, having finally succeeded, retired from politics, deciding to return to New York to spend the rest of his life on family and science

May 3rd, 1942: The Federation Council decides to add an orbital defense weapon to the ARK, the Eclipse Cannon. A first line of defense against other potential alien threats. Issac Robotnik marries Natasha Maxwell, an aspiring theoretical physicist he had met in Russia

July 7th, 1945: Maria Robotnik, Gerald's first grandchild, was born

August 13th, 1947: Maria starts to show signs of illness. She is diagnosed with NIDs (Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome). It will be a miracle if she lives to see her 18th birthday

December 6th, 1948: The ARK station is sent into space, with Gerald Robotnik and Maria on board

October 12th, 1957: A terrorist cell hijacked a G.U.N. shuttle and flew to the ARK and opened fire on the 286 inhabitants. Gerald, 63, and Maria, 12, were among the dead. The only survivors were Captain John Tower of G.U.N. and his son, Abraham, who were called back to Earth days before the attack
