Chapter 1 The Blood Mark
The normal day in class as always everything seems normal like a quite classroom.
Only the faint scratching of pens and the teacher’s voice filled the air. Sunlight slipped through the windows, falling softly across the desk.
Everything is normal.
Too normal.
Until—
The girl suddenly flinched.
Her hand moved too her chest.
A sharp severe pain.
No… not just a pain-
It felt like something was tearing through her skin from inside.
“Hah--!”
A small gasp escaped her lips. She tried to stay quite not wanting to disturb the class.
But the pain grew worse.
It burned.
It scratched.
It clawed at her heart like invisible nails.
Her breathing became uneven.
What….is happening….?
She pressed her hand harder against her chest, as if trying to stop whatever was inside.
Then—
A sudden scream.
AAH……--!
The entire class froze.
Everyone turned towards her.
She dropped slightly from her seat, gripping her uniform tightly. Her body trembled as if she had lost her control over it.
“Hey! What’s wrong with her?”
“Is she okay?” everyone is shocked
“Someone call the teacher!”
The teacher rushed forward, shocked.
“What happened? Are you alright?!”
But the girl couldn’t answer.
Because suddenly—
The pain stopped.
Just like that.
Silence.
Her body went still.
Her breathing slowed.
It was as if nothing had happened.
The class looked confused and shocked at same time like they saw something uneasy too handel and went to silence.
The teacher stepped back slightly, unsure.
“Are you not okay now?” she asked carefully.
The girl blinked.
She looked normal.
Too normal.
Slowly, she looked down at her uniform.
And then-
Her eyes widened.
There was a blood.
A deep red stain spreading across her shirt, right over her chest.
“What…..?”
Her finger trembled as she touched the fabric.
Wet.
Warm.
Real.
The classroom went silent again.
Some student stepped back in fear.
Others stared, unable to move.
The girl hesitated…then slowly lifted her shirt just a little-
And froze.
There, on her skin-
A strange mark.
Dark.
Sharp.
Like something carved…not drawn.
It looked almost like a Devils star, its edges glowing fainltly red, as if alive.
Her heartbeat echoed in her ears.
This..wasn’t normal.
This..wasn’t possible.
Around her the classroom began to panic.
“she’s bleeding!”
She shouted to everyone..
“stay away!”
Students moved back, forming distance.
Even the teacher couldn’t step closer anymore.
Fear had already taken over the room.
But the girl….
Confused,
Shocked.
Threatened.
And somewhere deep inside a strange feeling began to grow.
Something had changed.
And whatever it was….
It had only just begun.
