Summary

Moira has always believed she had everything under control: a stable boyfriend, a steady routine, a future already mapped out. Then David arrives. Cold, brilliant, impossible to ignore, he enters her life like a mistake that shouldn’t exist—and yet she can’t stop it from happening. There is nothing simple between them. Only attraction and friction, silences that weigh too much and conversations that feel like battles. Neither is willing to give in, but both begin to change. As circumstances push them to the edges, Moira realizes her certainties aren’t as solid as she thought. What she built starts to crack, and what she feels for David becomes harder and harder to ignore. It is not an easy choice. And it never comes at the right time. But some connections don’t break, even when they should.
