PART 1
John had summer vacations and he insisted on going out somewhere. His father had recently bought a house and they got it for a very cheap price. His father thought that John would enjoy his summer vacation there. John thought that since there were not many people living there and it was a green area, he would enjoy it a lot. That is why John agreed to go.
John’s family consisted of him and his parents. His father thought that after spending the night there, he would go to his new house in the morning. John was very happy to go to his new house, but he did not know that someone was already living where he was going
Now that it was morning, John’s family headed off to their new house. They reached his home; the house was very big. They could not clean such a big house alone, which is why John’s father called a cleaning worker. He would reach there tomorrow. John’s father told everyone to rest now; the cleaning workers would be there by tomorrow and then they would decorate their house.
John’s father showed him his room and told him, “This is your room, now you will stay here.” John also went to sleep on the bed without taking off his new clothes.
John woke up at 3:00 AM in the night to drink water. He went to the kitchen to drink water; the refrigerator was open. He drank water and closed the refrigerator, but he felt something strange—the walls of this house wall was very thick compared to other house walls. And he felt as if the wall was trying to tell him something, but he did not pay much attention and went to sleep .
It was 8:00 in the morning and John’s mother came to wake him up. She said that the cleaning workers had arrived and now they should get to work.
John got out of bed and went to the living room. The cleaning workers had already started tapping on the walls to check for damage. Suddenly, one of the workers looked confused. He hit a section of the thick wall in the hallway and it made a strange, hollow sound.
“Sir, this wall isn’t solid. There is a hidden space inside,” the worker told John’s father.
Out of curiosity, the father asked the workers to break a small part of the plaster. As the hammer hit the wall, a large piece broke.
Inside the hollow wall, there were dozens of deep scratch marks carved into the bricks, as if someone had desperately tried to claw their way out. But that was not the most terrifying part. As John slowly raised the flashlight, his breath stopped. A pale human skull stared back at him from inside the darkness. Beside it were two more skeletons, their remains trapped forever within the walls of the house.
Suddenly, the entire house fell silent. John froze. He remembered the strange feeling he had experienced at 3:00 AM. The walls were not unusually thick because of the design. They were thick because they had been built to bury people alive. At that exact moment, John’s phone vibrated in his trembling hand. A notification appeared on his screen—an old news article about the very same house.
{ Ten years ago, an entire family mysteriously vanished from this house. Neighbors reported hearing scratching sounds and muffled screams coming from inside for weeks, but when the police investigated, no evidence was ever found }
John slowly looked up at the wall. In the daylight, right where the skeleton’s head was resting, he heard it again. A very faint, dry whisper came from inside the bricks:
“Please... let us out.”
But the scariest part? The voice didn’t come from the broken wall. It came from the wall right behind John’s back.
