Summary

The stakes are set personal. A corporate titan trading her boardrooms for vault rooms, and a trail of blood that ends the second anyone with a badge takes a step. Here is the structural blueprint and initial opening act for your next interconnected universe novel. The Setup & The Rule The Antagonist: Elizabeth Banks. On paper, she is the elite, untouchable CEO of a powerful global corporation. In the shadows, she’s a thrill-seeking mastermind orchestrating high-stakes bank heists across the United States. She doesn't need the money; she craves the control. The Ultimatun: Every crime scene leaves behind a single, encrypted burner phone programmed with one directive: Send Johnathan Noire. Alone. No sirens, no local backup, no federal task forces. If a single federal jacket or police cruiser shows up, a captive teller dies on camera by her own hand.

Preface: The High Society Heist

You think you know how a bank robbery goes down.

A couple of desperate guys in cheap ski masks, waving heavy iron, screaming at everyone to hit the deck while the silent alarm counts down the minutes until every cop in a three-state radius descends on the block. It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s predictable.

Now, wipe that picture clean.

Imagine the glass doors of a premier Manhattan vault sliding open at midnight. Imagine a woman stepping through the smoke. She isn’t wearing a tactical vest or a balaclava. She’s wearing a tailored, five-thousand-dollar designer pantsuit, her blonde hair perfectly coiffed, looking exactly like the Fortune 500 CEO who graced the cover of Forbes yesterday morning.

Because she is the CEO.

Elizabeth Banks doesn’t clear out vaults because her corporation is failing. She does it because the boardroom ceased to be a challenge. When you already own the world, the only thing left to buy is the pure, unfiltered adrenaline of taking whatever you want, whenever you want it, just to prove nobody can stop you.

But every game needs a worthy opponent, or the victory is hollow.

That’s why she drew the line in the sand. A rule so cold, so absolute, it leaves the entire law enforcement apparatus of the United States completely paralyzed:

“No local cops. No FBI. No CIA. If I catch the scent of a badge, a single federal jacket, or a flashing blue light within five blocks of my perimeter... the teller on duty dies by my hand. Live on camera.”

The multi-billion-dollar corporate empire isn’t her greatest asset anymore. The hostage is her shield. Her leverage.

The white collars in Washington can only sit on their hands and watch the cameras roll. There is only one man permitted to walk into the crosshairs. One man who has to look a brilliant, untouchable psychopath in the eye and try to survive the night without getting an innocent person killed.

His name is Johnathan Noire. He’s entirely on his own, walking straight into a high-stakes, cross-country psychological meat grinder.

Flip the page. Hold your breath. And don’t look for the sirens—because nobody is coming to save him.

The setting is so good, the characters already feel strong, and the plot is already so compelling. I only wish I could hear the characters' voices a little sooner, but no worries—I'm definitely going to keep reading and follow this book. It has already sucked me in! I love it. Keep it up, Author! ❤️

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters.
