Again, another Isekai

You stretched as you stepped out into the night of your home in your jacket, phone in hand and watching something on your phone as you walked slowly to a beeping car. As you opened the door and got in.

“Finally.” Your friend says before looking at your screen. “Dude, you could’ve watched that in the car. Didn’t you finish watching Murder Drones already.”

“Yeah, but this is a theory video on it.” You tell him.

“I couldn’t tell. But dude, I’ve been waiting for this midnight release forever, so...” Your friend then started the engine.

As he took off down the street, you kept watching the video before the car jumped, making you almost drop it before looking at your friend.

“Dude, can you watch the road?”

“I’m sorry, it’s hard to see potholes even with these lights.” He tells you. “Trust me though, man. I haven’t gotten into any trouble yet.”

“Really? You sure didn’t get into a car accident?”

“No, but I’ve been in a car purpose.”

“What’s a car purpose?” He didn’t look at you... just suddenly swung to the side. “OH SHI-!”

The car was suddenly flipped over and went rolling down the street before crashing into a PARKED truck... that then caught fire... and then exploded. No survivors.

You blinked before looking around. The first thing you felt... was cold. You were lying on a cold floor in a dark room with only light coming from the window.

“Ain’t no fucking way that motherfucker just isekai’d me.” You say in annoyance as you look around while standing up. “I swear, that guy better have gone somewhere worse than me.

(Meanwhile)

Your ‘friend’ woke up and looked around. “Holy shit, it actually worked.”

He then got up and started walking around the seemingly empty forest. No civilization for miles which dampened his mood.

“Man, I hope I got a good world.”

Then he hears a roar behind him before he turns around. There stood large giants that looked all too familiar.

“Mother...”

(Back with you)

“Whew, oh man. Why is it so cold?” You say as you adjust your jacket before opening the door and snow blew in. “Oh, that’s why.”

You then stepped outside, hoping to see a town full of people or anything good. It wasn’t. It was a barren city with no people around and covered in snow. So basically, post-apocalyptic. So, that was fun.

“Okay, I should be fine as long as I didn’t get sent to...” You trailed off as you looked in the sky.

Not wanting to believe what you were seeing, you rubbed your eyes and looked up. However, as you did, you could clearly see the two planets, one with a ring around it, right there in the sky that was unmistakable. That cemented the fact of where you had ended up.

“Oh, goddammit.”
