Overview
Wesley is a twelve-year-old Water Tribe boy who is unexpectedly chosen to become the Champion of Hope. While he gains incredible cosmic abilities, he discovers that the Force of Hope has mysteriously disappeared, leaving him with only a fraction of his true power. Unsure why he was chosen and overwhelmed by the responsibility, Wesley joins Aang and his friends on their journey across the Four Nations while secretly searching for the missing Hope. Although he constantly doubts himself, Wesley's compassion and determination make him a true hero long before he realizes it himself.
Personality
Wesley is gentle, compassionate, and endlessly curious about the world around him. He has the innocent optimism and wonder, always believing that people can choose to become better. At the same time, he has stubborn loyalty and protective nature, refusing to abandon anyone in danger even when he's scared.
Despite his bravery, Wesley is naturally nervous and struggles with self-confidence. He worries that someone else should have been chosen as the Champion of Hope and often second-guesses his decisions. He dislikes being the center of attention and would rather help quietly than be praised. Even so, when his friends need him, he finds the courage to stand up and fight.

Wesley can summon a mystical emerald-colored sword. The blade is formed from the energy of Hope itself and can:
Cut through powerful spiritual and physical defenses. Channel cosmic energy into devastating slashes .Deflect energy attacks. Disappear and reappear in Wesley's hand at will.Grow stronger as Wesley's hope and determination increase.
Because Hope is missing, Wesley can only access a small portion of these abilities. As he grows emotionally and spiritually, more of his powers gradually awaken.
