Invisible Need

Invisible Need

Is a friend needed

When you are at your lowest and want to cry for hours

Is a friend needed

When you love more than you should

When you call more then you should

When you care more than you should

When you text or pray more than you should

Is a friend needed

God is the friend

But you cant see him, or get the phone call that you needed

But he is there

Is a friend needed

When you feel hurt and want to vent

They tell us to pray he listens

But do they not understand you need to hear him breathe

Is a friend needed

When the cliff seems to be the answer

And the peace is stiller than the ocean breeze

But they say God is the answer

Don’t they understand you need to feel five fingers

Is a friend needed

When you have the desire to hangout

Or even go for silent walk

But they say God is walking with you

Don’t they understand you need to see a shadow

Face the reality

Judgement day who are you with really

Is it the friend you needed….

Or Jesus Christ who pleaded…
