Jesus Saves

I just had a really terrible dream. I was dreaming about this weird guy who wanted my little sister and I to try listening to this one song and eat this burger. He started regurgitating cheese onto it and I told him, with all due respect I can’t eat that.

He said to me, “you can talk about sex, but not eat the burger?” I kept saying something about being highly disrespectful and started to leave.

Immediately something chased me down the stairs; I ran through the living room screaming, “help!” Over and over. But it was that silent gasp of a help, like in nightmares.

I ran; I burst through the living room door screaming it over and over like a mantra. “Help!” I was pulled back upstairs to my bedroom where I awoke; I knew something was wrong.

I’ve felt this sleep paralysis demon dream more times than I can count. I felt a heavy…heavy darkness enveloping me. Trying to latch onto me somehow. I was laying in bed staring at the ceiling when I could see and feel the darkness wrapping around me.

Instantly I began saying, “in my lord and savior’s name Jesus Christ, I rebuke you.”

In this moment a deep low yet loud booming moaning noise screamed. Like a dark spirit wailing. It tried to attach to me again and again—just as before—“in Jesus Christ my lord and savior; I rebuke you dark spirit!” I yelled this with all my strength.

The moaning wail of the demonic spirit wailed even louder. I felt the darkness melting away—like hot wax—as the demon kept screaming. Then I woke up out of the paralysis and thanked Jesus immediately.

God I’m so scared. I have these dreams so much. Jesus please protect me and my family, for I know in your holy name I and my family cannot be harmed by any evil spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen!
