Achievements

The tiny figure that is Brain is barely visible on the big desk at the White House. He's just sitting there, staring out the window as the night falls.

"Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?" Pinky yells as he walks in.

"Same thing we do every night Pinky" Brain starts, "Try to ..." Brain pauses and his face saddens. "That's right" he mumbles. "We already did that". He slumps down and looks out the window again. "I don't know what to do Pinky" Brain says to Pinky, who's climbing on the desk besides him now. "I've taken over the world, thus I stopped all wars, I cured hunger and I killed every single cat in the world. I stand alone at the top, unopposed by anyone."

Pinky looks at him with the same dumb expression he always has. "But isn't that what you always wanted Brain?" He asks his friend.

"YES" Brain yells. "But what now. You don't know what it feels like, you idiot. What it feels like to look out this window and have no goals left. Look out this window, Pinky. There is nothing left to conquer. Everything you see belongs to me. Everything ... Every..." Brain stops and his eyes grow big. He puts a paw on his friend's shoulder. "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

Pinky is observing his own paws as he answers. "I think so Brain, but I'm sure now that there's no way to really fit fifty clowns in a car."

"No, you blundering fool." Brain snaps. "Look out this window. Everything belongs to me. Everything except... Ask your question again Pinky. Come on ask it."

Pinky takes a second. "Isn't that what you always wanted Brain?"

"The other one." Brain says, grinding his teeth and slapping the palm of his paw in front of his eyes, slowly pulling it down.

"Oh..." Pinky stares off for a while, trying to remember the question Brain wants. His face clears up when he remembers. "What do you want to do tonight Brain?"

"Same thing we'll do every night from now on Pinky. TRY TO TAKE OVER THE MOON!"
