A city where danger and opportunity existed in equal measure.

Ever since the gods descended, it had become the center of the world's obsession: Labyrinth City Orario.

At one of Orario's gates, Tavian Ashford stood among the stream of travelers and looked up at the city before him.

"So this is Labyrinth City Orario."

"It's huge."

"And lively."

"So many races in one place."

Tavian stared as people came and went through the gate.

"Hey, you there. Country kid. What brings you to the Dungeon?"

A half-masked man walked over with a report in hand. He had been keeping order at the gate, but his tone made his thoughts obvious.

'Whose kid is this, and how did he make it here without ever seeing the world?'

"I came to Orario to train."

Tavian did not hide anything. He looked at the half-masked gatekeeper with an open, sincere smile.

"For now, I have one small goal: to become a first-rate warrior."

"I see."

The half-masked man understood at once.

A newcomer.

Still, he did not think much of it. New people arrived every day.

But procedure was procedure.

"Did you receive a god's Falna before coming here?"

"Falna?"

Tavian shook his head.

"I don't need that."

'I've crossed into this world with a cheat ability already in hand. Why would I need Falna?'

'Wouldn't that be the same as giving myself a new weakness?'

'Unless this cheat has some serious flaw and needs Falna to unlock, I have no use for a divine blessing with a weakness attached.'

"I came to Orario for the Dungeon."

"Right now, the best way for me to train is to face a swarm of monsters."

"To keep growing through battle."

He had his own theory.

"Falna?"

"I really don't need it."

Just listen to that.

In Labyrinth City Orario, a place built around the gods' blessings, those words were practically heresy.

As a member of the Ganesha Familia, the half-masked man heard that and wondered if the kid had lost his mind.

"Hmph. Brat, you're talking pretty big for someone without Falna."

The man's expression hardened, and he gave a disdainful snort.

"Careful, or I'll knock you around."

As a veteran adventurer, he believed fresh rookies needed a scare now and then.

Especially rookies like the one in front of him.

But he did not see panic in the rookie's eyes.

What he saw instead was eagerness.

Tavian was not afraid.

"Knock me around?"

"Good. Then let's have a match."

Tavian took two steps back and raised his fists. An arrogant, provocative grin spread across his face.

"Let me see how strong a member of a Familia blessed by a god really is."

The travelers who had been watching from the side erupted.

"Is he serious? That newcomer doesn't have Falna, and he still dares to challenge him?"

"That kid is asking to die."

"Hah. Rookies these days really are reckless."

"Well, well. The kid has nerve."

In moments, the people who had not yet entered the city gathered around.

No one could resist stopping to watch.

No one could remember the last time Orario's gates had seen a scene like this.

An ordinary person without Falna was challenging an adventurer who had received a god's blessing.

It was so absurd it was almost funny.

The other gate guards had watched their companion try to scare a newcomer, only for the situation to turn into an actual challenge.

"Raya, you have to go now."

"Show this new brat the strength of the Ganesha Familia."

"That's right."

The Ganesha Familia helped protect the city, and guarding the gates was part of that duty.

But no one looked down on their strength.

They were not merely gatekeepers. Members of the Ganesha Familia had plenty of experience outside the city as well.

Raya, the Ganesha Familia member whom Tavian had challenged, listened as his companions cheerfully egged him on.

He sighed.

"You people..."

Raya wanted to remind them that they were not some band of villains. There was no reason to get genuinely angry with a kid.

But it had already become a question of Familia honor.

"You're arrogant, kid. I'll give you that."

"But let me make one thing clear first. I am a member of the Ganesha Familia."

"By provoking me, you're provoking a member of the Ganesha Familia."

"I will not shame the god I serve."

"So I have no choice but to fight you."

Raya was warning him that this was no longer purely personal.

At this point, his pride as a member of the Familia was involved.

If he backed down now, he would shame his Familia, so he accepted the challenge.

"Good."

At that, Tavian's urge to fight burned even hotter.

"Then I'll challenge you."

Why did he look so impulsive?

Simple: he wanted to see how his cheat compared to someone who had received Falna.

To be honest, he figured his odds of winning were ninety-nine percent.

His cheat ability was a Call-Out Move System.

The louder and stronger the shout, the stronger the move it released.

The catch was that releasing those moves still required energy.

But that was fine.

He had his own starting template.

Fixed Attribute: Energy C

Fixed Trait: Natural Body

Fixed Luck: B

Fixed Ability: Cosmic Martial Arts

Fixed Ultimate Move: Pseudo-Artemis: Pure Love

His Luck B was the reason he had managed to reach Labyrinth City Orario so quickly.

As for Pseudo-Artemis: Pure Love, it carried that name because he himself was not the Orion from that legend.

For now, the move only layered buffs over his base attributes.

If he ever won the goddess's genuine acknowledgment, the move could be changed to its true name.

That said, it would only add another layer of buffs.

This was why he was so confident.

With Energy C backing it, Cosmic Martial Arts alone was enough for him to fight through the Dungeon, reach a floor boss, and still come out alive without much trouble.

If that was not enough, there was always the Leo Kick built into Cosmic Martial Arts.

One strike from that ultimate move, and the result would be devastating.

The problem was that if he used such a killing move while the gate guard was still underestimating him, Raya would probably be dead before anyone could save him.

If this little match reached that level, Tavian could forget about showing his face in Orario again.
