"The Lucky Winner is almost a cautionary tail presented as a thrilling mystery. Definitely a maybe winning the lottery isn't the best thing that can happen to a family situation. The pacing is quick and keeps you turning the pages and the writing is clean and descriptive, incredibly easy flowing. Ella is a great main character and the surrounding cast are well-layered and interestingly flawed. Well done."
