"The beginning of this story is good. You can see the plot, antagonists, potential love interests, etc. The one thing that I’ll have to say is that the book needs a little more polishing because it needs to be a bit more dimensional so that it doesn’t look like it’s literally a story. But, you have a good plot and characters here. Good job!"

It's Never Simple

"The beginning is dynamic, fast-paced, and I like it. The dialog is snappy, witty, and quite realistic, perhaps too realistic. I am personally not a fan of crude language in a dialog, even if it does add to the realism. Strong words limit the circle of potential readers, to my mind. This book could have readers from age 12 an up, but if you keep those words, I don't know what bottom age it can be recommended for. But it's just my opinion and preference. I think overall it's a good beginning, it needs only the usual proofreading and editing. Definitely keep going, it's developing into something interesting!"
