"I really enjoyed reading Footes Creek. The author's descriptive writing enabled me to imagine each setting and it was almost like a video playing inside my head. The story captured my interest with the first murder but I was hooked when forensic evidence was discovered proving Julia's death was no accident. The "magic wand" angle was a tricky twist worthy of any CSI case."

"I only read as far as the fourth chapter but became bored. The characters had no depth and the backstory seemed none existent. The murder didn't even keep me wanting for more. You could tell this is a new writer who needs some help to get her through the story to entice a reader to invest his time in reading. I'm sorry, but it didn't do much for me. Maybe a closer look by the writer would help them understand what is lacking...compassion for the characters and the story."
