Prologue

I was running through the forrest. I don’t know from what I was running it was a gut feeling. I only hear myself running so I slow down and catch my breath.

I look arround and see nowhere to go. I’m surrounded by trees. I feel so free from everything what had happened over the last few months.

I’m stopping here for the night. I look at the trees and look for a suitable tree where I can sleep in so no forrest animals can get to me.

I see one not too far from here. I climb in it and make myself comfortable. I was about to fall asleep when I hear some leaves crushing.

I look arround but see nothing. So I let it slide. But then I hear something like footsteps comming towards me. Maybe it’s just an animal that’s passing through but I’m curious what kind of animal it is.

I still don’t see anything beneath me. I’m patiently waiting for the animal to pass because it’s already getting dark out here. I can feel the bark of the tree against my back my wounds are probably getting infected. But I just have a feeling that I have to see this animal. I can hear them getting closer. I look down and see some wolves walking past my tree. I try to get a better look at them and I can hear the tree branch that I’m holding on to, snap and fall down. They immediatly look up and see me. They scamper and after that I can only see my captors. Did they see the wolves?

I climb down because otherwise my punishment will be harsher when I refuse them.

“Now now little runner. You haven’t got that far this time.” I can hear the leader say. I don’t answer because I just can’t talk they damaged me so hard I refuse to talk to them.

“Are you gonna try to run away again?” I hear my captor say.

I want to scream yes but I just stare in front of me.

I can almost feel it that they are holding back on trying not to punch me for running away.
