Pitch black. Dead silence.
I raised a hand up and try to touch my own face but I couldn’t. I can’t see where it is; my hands, my face... what’s standing next to the bed.
It's so cold, even if it's just autumn. I reached a hand out to my right side just to check.
Only to catch the air. Hah, lucky though.
I crawl and twist my body back into a fetus position, burying my hands between my thighs. They're warm. I clench my nails deeper into the fabric.
Maybe tonight I'll sleep better, I thought.
It was 2 in the morning.
