Chapter 1
When Sofía Martinez was a little girl her papa would tell her stories about her marrying a prince and becoming a prince.
She cried her eyes out. She saw people walk into her house and she squeezed her father’s lifeless body and said, ¨You aren’t taking me to the orphanage.¨
The guards roll their eyes and say, ¨We’re not taking you to the orphanage, we’re taking you to see the King and Queen they both request to see you.¨
She squeezes her father’s hand and says, ¨I can’t leave my papá, mi abuela and mi Hermana menor Valentina.”
The guards roll their eyes and say, ¨Then bring them with you.”
She sighs and says ¨Fine, I’ll go with you¨.
She walks over to her Abuela and says, ¨Abuela tenemos que ir a ver al Rey y la Reina, then valentina."
The guards carry her papá and takes them to the kingdom.
