Chapter 1
Have you ever thought, that the world could end so soon? In California is where it started to show.Well Darlene got more then she expected when her house fall to the ground after an enormous earth quake.Coming back from work she noticed cracks on the road , fire o the trees and even fire hydrants gushing out water.
It was currently 1960's so the only communication that ,was available was mailing a letter. The only way to tell her family members that it was, the end of the world was by sending a letter . letters would normally take about a week or so to arrive to its destination.So she had no way of communicate, with her family that were overseas. AS she panicked she thought and said to herself " why don't i just buy a plane ticket and fly to them".
Luckily she lived near the airport and, she drove as fast as she can to the airport. She rushed and so the airport filled with people, with suitcases the sizeof sofas.She found a receptionist and purchased a ticket to Canada.After waiting what seemed a long time, finally a woman said "Please board flight 5430" she quickly scrambled to the boarding gate which was so crowded that not even small children could go through.
