"The voice was what caught me about this one--I suppose it's too early to be talking about plot and characterization, but it's chock full of little character tidbits (the I-love-you was awesome--you didn't try to make it dramatic, more true to life) and the narration/style is really fascinating. It's sort of brief, sort of poetic, and the pattern of short/snappy sentences is what made it really pretty to read. Especially captivating as a first chapter (: Good luck! Keep doin what you're doin!"

"The story read so much like a poem in motion. I glided from one sentence to the next, and I just couldn't stop. It felt like the ripples at the surface of a pond and something that should be read more than once to be understood, what a beautiful read!"

"The story was well written, in spite of a lack of plot. It describes a very lovely moment in time and would do very well inside a story. As an all-encompassing story, I found it a bit aimless. maybe I might have missed a metaphor. Very nice and sweet all the same. It made me smile."
