1. Frozen

[Three Years Ago]

The 18 year old boy couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Clasping onto his pencil tightly from anxiety, letting his large circular glasses fall down slowly along his fairly sharp nose, he could feel a whirl of emotions flying across his body. One of the main emotions he was experiencing included nervousness.

“Jungkook", Taehyung quietly tapped Jungkook on the shoulder, breaking the younger out of his dull gaze.

“Yes?” Jungkook shook his head, turning his attention towards the elder male.

“Are you going to continue to stare at Rosé or-”

“It’s Chae Young, Chae for short,” Jungkook interrupted. Not realizing that he held the pencil so tightly, he decided to put it back in his uniform pocket.

“So you have a nickname for that beauty?” Taehyung smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.

“Rosé is the actual nickname everyone gave her.” Jungkook tried to defend himself, also ignoring the comment from Taehyung. Was calling the most beautiful girl, besides her best friend Jennie, by a nickname a bad thing?

“That wasn’t my question. I meant, your nickname.” Taehyung emphasized the ‘your’, putting Jungkook right on the spot. Jungkook felt trapped, since he blanked out on how to respond back.

“Tae, let’s just walk into the building.”

“Bro, I was waiting for the past 10 minutes! You froze like a statue when you saw Rosé!” Taehyung burst into laughter, slapping his knee in the process. Unable to control his loud and obnoxious laughter, to the embarrassed Jungkook’s luck, Rosé and her little group of female friends turned towards the sound.

Almost wanting to do his bathroom business there on the spot, Jungkook clearly freaked out. Another problem was added to this situation because, when Jungkook started to become very anxious, his eyes changed.

His inner wolf attempted to burst out because of the adrenaline rush that flowed through his wolf veins. It wasn’t time for the complete transformation yet. The urge to dash out the school for wolves and humans, and run out to the busy, condensed Seoul city life was very tempting to escape to. Jungkook wanted to escape; that was his only thought that very moment. This was all because of one simple glance from his 'useless' crush.

At this point in his life, Jeon Jungkook was a thin boy, with very lean muscle. Even though he's never transformed, he could feel his inner wolf. Sadly, puberty didn’t hit him to the fullest. All his elder 'brothers', transformed, and that transformation changed them from skinny beings to muscular macho men.

The elder men were free from acne, where-as Jungkook attempted to hide his bumps behind his round Harry Potter type glasses.

Jungkook cared about two things. His transformation and Chaeyoung.

A few more months until his 19th birthday, which happens to be a full moon. He will transform for the first time. What a wonderful birthday present.

Cursing under Jungkook’s breath, he quickly stole a glance where the girls were, and to his dismay, which increased his heart rate, Chaeyoung and the girls approached him and Taehyung.

“Fuck.” Jungkook swearing was more audible and Taehyung caught the word.

Taehyung widened his eyes, and gasped, “Did jungkook just swear!?”

“Shut up!” Jungkook hissed, and in the speed of light, he walked away from the crazy yet handsome man. Almost walking past the girls, of course the angelic voice had to call for him,

“Jungkook, wait.”

As if under Chaeyoung's command, he stopped walking. Jungkook once again, felt frozen. This was the first time in the five years that he knew of her existence, he had heard her call his name. Her steps could be heard, her faint delicious and alluring scent can be smelled from afar. This gave the indication that Jungkook’s senses were slowly becoming heightened.

It was so strange as to why Chaeyoung caught his attention. Was it because she was half werewolf, half human?
