Prologue

Queen Julia was in the infirmary giving birth to her sixth child while her husband, King Scott was waiting outside the door, pacing back and forth worrying about his wife. That’s when he heard the cries of a baby and he just couldn’t take it anymore, he burst into the infirmary and his eyes immediately lands on his lovely wife how currently looks sweaty, exhausted and as if she’s about to faint.

“Your Majesty!” The lady care taker of his wife shouted the same time he shout, “My dear!” as he rushed to her side and held her hand.

“Our daughter...” whispered Julia as she fell into deep sleep.

That was when he finally noticed that there where still the cries of a baby, then he looked around and found a woman holding his new born child in her arms.

“Give her.” He said to the lady care taker.

“Yes, Your Highness.” She replied as she gave him the baby girl all cleaned up from the blood that was on her earlier on and wrapped in a blanket.

As King Scott held her in his arms he could already feel there was something wrong with her, something that his other children didn’t have. Yes, she had her mother’s beautiful features and everything but she still felt different.

“Elizabeth.” He whispered as he named her, that’s when she opened her eyes and started cooing at him.

She radiated power, so much power that he thought he saw her start to glow.

He turned to the lady care taker, “send one of the guards to the stables get them to prepare a carriage for me, we are going to the oracle.” He commanded.

A few hours later King Scott and his daughter where at the too of the Oracles mountain.

In the cave at the top of the mountain where the oracle was in, you would see a woman or what used to be a woman wrapped in what looked like bandages and tissues that looked like it was about to fall apart sitting on a stool at the center of the cave. Anyone would think she was dead, but as the Scott got closer to her with Elizabeth in his arms , she lifted her head up and started to glow a kind of feverish green. When she looked at Scott his eyes widened in fear seeing as her eyes where also illuminating the green colour. Then she spoke,

“I have been waiting for you.” She hissed.

“My daughter...” Scott whisper in a way as if those two words would tell her everything she needs to know.

“Yes, I presume you have brought her here for a prophecy, to ask what is wrong.” She tilted her head to the side as in question.

“Yes.”

“There is nothing wrong with her, she carries special powers within her that no one has ever seen but I warn you be careful of what you do with her because it might cause the downfall of you Kingdom.” With that warning she stopped glowing and her head went back down like as if she never spoke.

Currently the King was still with his daughter but this time he gave her to his mist trusted guard with a command,

“Kill her.” He whispered to him.

“But Your Majesty-”

“No, kill her and no one, I repeat no one must know of this.” He turned around and made his way back to the infirmary to bribe the care taker into not saying a word about the child to anyone or his wife and to also tell his wife that their child was dead as soon as she woke up.

While that was happening the guard was going as fast as he could to the back of the castle even if he knew he could not kill an innocent child, so that was why he was relived when he saw one of the castle maids and went straight to her.

“Please take this child, I can’t do it please just take her.” He pleaded as he tried to put Elizabeth in her arms but in surprise she jumped back and he dropped the baby but before she could reach the flour she started to float in mid air and landed on the floor in a gentle manner, both the maid and the guard gasped.

“What kind if sorcery is this!” She moved back with her hand on her heart.

“Please just take the baby, she’s innocent. Please I beg of you.”

“Okay, but come in first and tell me what thus is all about.” She told him as she moved in the direction of her room.

While settled in her room the guard told her everything there where surprised looked here and there but when he finished the story he asked her again if she would take care of the child and this time she agreed but she would only take care of the baby if he helped her with the expenses and money. He agreed and it was settle Maria would be taking care of the baby until she was old enough to care for herself. She took the baby from him and cradled her to her chest as she continued to sleep.

He was about to leave the room when he turned back around. “One last thing her name is Elizabeth.” With that he left.
