"Congratulations, battle!"

"Wow wow wow wow wow! How did the author even manage to write this story!!! The dialogues are fabulous perfectly matching the background of the story. The language used is on point and every character is well developed. I recently completed the updated version of this story and it is truly amazing. The military vibes of this story is what got me hooked on to it. And what's up with that writing style!? It's awesome that's what. Although the chapters are a bit long and the proceedings are no dessert but the raw rough presence of the military training is really well written. Kudos to the author!!"

I enjoyed it

"This book was pretty good needs a little space editing between words. There were so many names i got a little confused on who was who, and by the end of the book i couldn't tell who the people that actually liked her was so maybe make a couple more interactions with the friemds so we know who's on good standing? One thing I noticed was it repeated a couple details, like when McCoy crawled under the barbed wire and both time she got kicked and got her hair stuck, making it sound repetitive. There were about three more things that got repeated but overall it was an interesting book of strength and devotion. Bravo Author i hope you get published."

Publishing Worthy

"The plot of the story is amazing. I could appreciate the way the story opens up as the experience of the main character grabs at the heart strings instantly. This connection is supported as the MC tells us how she arrived at the opening event. The dialogue is some of the best I have seen with a natural flow they way conversation is in real life. I especially enjoined the dialague with the charater Zee. There are some basic grammatical and punctuation that could be cleaned up, however, I have not seen a writer yet that does need some correction grammatically. I applaud a fairly clean read. The writing style is particularly easy because the engagement with the MC is similar to watching a movie and really seeing the character interact, have emotions, struggle, and so much more. Great Job!"

A great potential

"Against the grain is a novel with an interesting plot and seems built on real experience. The story of a young woman who joins the army without really knowing what she is letting herself in for and without being particularly suited to the discipline and difficulties she encounters has the potential to be a strong character driven tale. At the moment it has the feel of a diary and reads like a first draft. Since finishing the novel, the author has begun amending and rewriting and I am sure this will make this novel one to watch. All the best with your rewriting."
