We are all human beings so why?

Why all the hatred?

Why all the judgment?

Why all the comments?

Why all the insults?

Why all the harsh words?

Why all the side looks?

Why all the scorn?

Am I an animal? Because last I checked I had two hands and legs, a conscience, and a heart.

Is it the way I look?

Is it the way I dress?

Is it who I like?

Is it because I don't fit in?

Is it because I don't want to pretend?

Is it because I want to be myself?

Is it because I don't like what you like? Honestly, the music you listen to is not my style.

The words you use are not nice.

The clothes you wear I don't want.

The people you like are not the ones who understand me.

I don't want a one night stand I want importance.

I have goals and a future waiting for me.

You're not important. Your words don't affect me.

At the end of the day...

Take your words and false concern.

I know you don't like me so no need to pretend.

We should all be ourselves whether society agrees or not.

I've been insulted and hated yet here I am still not leaning into the cares of society.

If I can do it then so can you.
