Between The sea and the stars

My mind is a playground for constellation.

Every thought it contains moves at a speed faster than light.

Solar flares threaten to scar when the sea is at war with the Stars.

My heart is an ocean of emotion.

Waves break on the crumpled edges.

Tides take no prisoners when the sea is at war with the stars.

The horizon breaks across the battlefield.

The land that lay in between is battered and bruised.

Casualties are counted when the sea is at war with the Stars.

Thoughts can be concerning, cold, and comfort less.

In the place of emotion, there is only numbness.

A person becomes a broken machine when the sea is at war with the Stars.

A shell of a man meanders the streets.

He knows not what he wants.

But something catches his eye when the sea is at war with the Stars.

A smile, her smile, has turned darkness into light.

A sensitive, stunning smile, strikingly sweet.

He smiles back shyly as the sea ends the war with the Stars.

His numbness melts like a glacier.

The emotions come flooding back into his heart.

He sees the direction he should go as the sea ends the war with the Stars.

He tells her he loves her.

She tells him she feels the same.

He kisses her softly and sweet as the sea ends the war with the Stars.

They travel together,

Far, Far away,

Somewhere in between the sea and the Stars.
