Summary

Aura sighed as she brushed her fingers through her hair. Only waiting for another boring lesson to wrap up. Though it was only her second hour of the day, it was seriously dragging by. Her brain started to create fantasy worlds for her to prance around in, carefree and truly happy. A sudden voice snapped her out of her daydream," Ms. Whitfeild, could you please read the next passage?" The teacher stated, monotone voice cutting through her mind, once again. "Uh...Ahem... The... uhm?", she desperately looked back to her best friend, who whispered," The mythical creatures were once worsh-". He got cut off by Aura. "The mythical creatures were once worshiped by thousands of humans. Later on, our imaginations started to take over. We created creatures that we no longer worshiped, but made fun of." She sent her friend a grateful look before she rested her chin on her palm. The person behind her read the next paragraph, and on and on. Aura decided daydreaming was better than learning things she already knew. She closed her eyes and wished away the world.

Chapter 1

Aura sighed as she brushed her fingers through her hair. Only waiting for another boring lesson to wrap up. Though it was only her second hour of the day, it was seriously dragging by.

Her brain started to create fantasy worlds for her to prance around in, carefree and truly happy. A sudden voice snapped her out of her daydream.

"Ms. Whitfeild, could you please read the next passage?” The teacher stated, monotone voice cutting through her mind, once again.
“Uh...Ahem... The... uhm?“, she desperately looked back to her best friend, who whispered,” The mythical creatures were once worsh-“. He got cut off by Aura.
“The mythical creatures were once worshiped by thousands of humans. Later on, our imaginations started to take over. We created creatures that we no longer worshiped, but made fun of.”
She sent her friend a grateful look before she rested her chin on her palm. The person behind her read the next paragraph, and on and on. Aura decided daydreaming was better than learning things she already knew.
She closed her eyes and wished away the world. She saw her classroom from an ariel point of view. She wasn’t touching the ground or controlling her movements. She flew towards the window, avoiding any desks in the process. When she got there she heard a tiny voice, distorted, and hard to make out. The windows in the room suddenly filled with light.
Aura woke to a startling shove from her best friends, Jasmine, and Miles.
“Wake up, sleepyhead.“, Jas giggled. Miles just rolled his eyes in a playful manner.
