When air and earth collide!
Earth was in danger of dying until alien beast walkers rescued it.
Humans were thought to be extinct until Zander king of Ilyria found the only survivor.
He was millennium, with black hair ,seablue eyes, tall, wearing gold armor, over a blue uniform.
Zander and his soldiers were searching for any signs of life when they came upon an empty town, in a forest, and a beautiful lake.
Animals, and plants were growing in abundance.
Singing filled the air and that was when he met Jewel.
She was 16, with long brown hair, emerald green eyes, and wore a white t shirt, bluejeans, and no shoes.
Jewel was afraid until she met Sanders eyes.
However she didn't come towards them.
She ran as fast as she could until she was pinned against a tree.
Zander held her close to himself, and gently kissed her lips.
Jewel struggled until she almost passed out due to lack of air.
Tears fell from eyes as she cried.
He picked her up in his arms and carried her into her home.
He and his men found plenty of food and water, and rooms to sleep in.
Zander and Jewel occupied the biggest room and he was happy.
He thought that all was well!
However he was awakened by a guard and noticed his mate was gone.
Jewel was outside at the lake and was sleepwalking.
He silently crept up behind her until she was safe in his arms.
A little water had wet her feet and a tail replaced her feet.
Zander was silent as he watched her complete transformation.
After awhile he pulled her out of the water and carried her back to the house.
He and his men locked the doors and windows and watched her even while she slept.
The next morning Jewel awakened to find herself in someone's arms.
She started to scream until Zander silenced her with a kiss.
Jewel calmed down and looked into her mates eyes.
He felt her relax in his arms and gently picked her up carrying her to the kitchen.
Breakfast was served and Jewel sat on Sanders lap.
He fed her until she pushed his hands away.
He smiled and filled a plate for her.
Once breakfast was over Zander asked Jewel to show him her home.
By the time they reached the lake he asked about her sleepwalking,and her mermaid.
Jewel cried and ran away from him.
He told his guards to surround her but to let catch her.
Fear filled her eyes as she was backed up into a cave.
She cried afraid he'd hurt her.
However he held his hands up and spoke softly to her.
Once she was calm he pulled her into his arms.
He led her back to the house and once inside he asked her again.
She told him how people were experimented on to ensure survival.
However the experiment went wrong.
Some became beast walkers or shifters, while others died and turned to dust.
Jewel was a shifter and could basically become any supernatural.
She had managed mermaid because it was the easiest and kept her from drowning in water.
She had tried to avoid it but couldn't.
When she didn't shift she'd sleepwalk until she did.
