Easy Moving
I hurriedly finished up my makeup and fixed my hair. Maybe Forks wouldn't be all that bad. Maybe we'll even like it there. I sighed at my silly thoughts. Arizona would always be home. Mom would always be home. Grabbing my carry-on bag, I ran down the stairs and knocked on Bella's door. She was ways somehow was late. She yelled a "I'm going!" And I continued to the car. Phil had ready helped load all our luggage.
After 10 minutes //of Bella being all down and gloomy writing in her diary// Bella entered the car and we set off. The ride to the airport was long and torturously quiet, do I put some music on my phone and relaxed. I looked to Bella and she seemed off. So as the #1 sister that I am, I sent her a text. Alexis-
hey you okay??
She looked at her phone and laughed.
Mom had gotten me the new iPhone 6s and had tried to do the same with Bell's but she insisted on a regular flip phone. Bella-
just a little sad to say bye to Mom. Hru?
I absentmindedly smiled at how she shoved the attention back at me. "I'm holding up. It'll be good too see the old man again. It's been a while. " I whispered. She nodded and stared out the window again. Well that's the end of that.
We eventually got there and started to unload. You could see the tears start to form in Mom's eyes. She's so emotional its cute. Bella was always closer to Mom. People think it's because shes a year older than me but I knows it's cause' I've always been more...... out. Parties and dates have taken up a lot of quality time since I was 13. Bella and I have been polar opposites since we started to build our personalities.
Her head has been stuck in between the pages of some book, in her room alone since I could remember. Popularity came easy to me. Like I was a magnet to friends or "popular girls". But no matter what social group set us apart, as soon as we entered that door, I was Alex and she was Bell's.
Besides the popularity difference, looks was another thing. Her hair was wavy and dark brown, while mine was straight and reddish-brown like mom's. Her eyes a mesmerizing chocolate brown, mine light green that turned into a pale blue in the summer. Bella's face was round and clear, while mine was littered with freckles and my cheekbones defined. Her body was lean and she had a very normal busy. I was short and had bigger bust that I hated.
Bella handed me my phone and we turned to Mom and Phil. Bella crushed mom in a hug and I embraced Phil. We switched and stepped back. "You girls email me everyday okay? Bella, go out and enjoy Washington. Alexis, be safe when you do." She murmured on the verge of tears.
I nodded and wrapped my arm around Bella's shoulder. We turned and made our way through the airport. This is gonna be interesting.
