"What an amazing story. It has one chopping and changing one's own mind right from the start as to who could be the murderer. The suspense grabs hold of you from beginning to end. Some role players sticks into one's mind, others seem to be there just to complicate the story even more. Love it. The writing style, as well as the grammer is flawless. Since I am into police/detective mystery stories, it is a pitty there's not more of this genre from you. Excellent."

"I enjoyed this story very much. The characters were believable and consistent in their personalities. The description of the surrounding back drop was elegantly described making the setting admired. The plot is intriguing and kept me intensely interest. Sometimes in other stories I've read I'd skip chapters to the end but not this one. Thank you B.A.Braxton for an enjoyable read."

"This was a delightful story. The characters were entertaining and I liked the detective staying in the background. I really felt sorry for the son and also liked Elaine and am glad she entertained the idea of being a governess. Very suspenseful waiting until the last couple of chapters to find out who the killer was. Not who I suspected. Good Job B.A. Braxton. Hopefully more writing is in the works. makapueo65 "

"Let me start by saying...WOW. This book is FANTASTIC! I love your style of writing. The plotline was perfectly written and the flow of the story was also perfect. The characters were believable. I was hooked from the beginning and literally could not stop reading until I reached the end. You are a very skilled writer and I look forward to reading more of your work."
Good read
"Quite a nice read, not as exciting as it’s predecessor. It had a colourful and complex cast of characters and I liked that the detective was more involved this time. However this time the main character also felt like a side-character, she was not as involved and her intentions were difficult to ascertain. The characters kept mentioning the thread but we never read how it was humiliating from the main characters pov. I also enjoyed how the criminal proved Occam’s razor, usually the most suspicious person is the culprit."
