Fantastic

"It's rare to read books on Inkitt that actually feel like the ones you have in your hands, but Jbarron does just that. The timing, plot, and characters are well thought out and done perfectly, and it is truly a joy to read. It is a unique fantasy book, one that hooks you in to the very last page."

An Interesting Read

"This is a great start, there are a few grammatical mistakes and typos every now and again but those are easily fixed with a bit of editing. I am already surprised by the story as it took a much different turn than I expected and it's a very original idea which I love. Keep up the great work."

Great Start

"Jbarron has started what promises to be a very timely work of fiction. With the use of simple sentence structure, she crafts a world that is falling prey to the rise of fascism. The way it is portrayed in this book shows how subtley it spreads. With respectable politicians like Nathaniel Burgin's, opportunistically allying with racists in order to further their aims. It's not heavy handed either, the writing is amusing at times, lines like 'this knife would make you look like a badass' alleviates the sense of creeping dread in those first chapters. The ending of the chapter hooked me and I would be very happy to read more of this, should Jbarron upload them."
