"Amazing description of Rebecca's innocence in everything. I could sense her amazement as she learned about her husband and all things new. "

Rebecca
"Once again, a beautiful story. Somehow, I felt sorry for the mother as it was very sad how she seemed to miss out on her daughter's childhood and potential. It was inspiring the way the family and James protected Rebecca all the time, and I could not help smiling as the love between Rebecca and Robert progressed. The ending I found rather surprising, but extremely satisfying, as with all of this author's wonderful work."
A Lovely Historical Romance
"There are a few minor errors, but nothing to detract significantly from the tale. The writing style in many places reminds me of Oscar Wilde, and it is set some years previous to him. There are a few things you may need to look up if you're unfamiliar with 17th century English terms, though, if you don't, you can still visualize it all well with the way the scenes are portrayed. The whirlwind romance and the questional behavior of the mother are the main focus, flowing naturally as the story progresses. The characters are well developed and feel like real people, with all the ugly and beautiful things that make them individuals. If you like historical romances - this is a must read."
Another beautifully written tale
"There has yet to be a story I have read from him that has fallen short of my expectations. He has not disappointed in yet another beautifully written love story! I encourage anyone and everyone who is looking for an author who cares about reading like they do to read all of his stories, as they are well written!"
