Night Dagger

I let out a deep chuckle while looking at the frightened idiot standing in front of me. I'm towering over his cowering figure amusement clear in my grey orbs. I bet he wasn't expecting me to get through the thick silver chains.

But of course, that's everyone's biggest fault when being in the presence of the Night Dagger. Stupid egotistical cowards, thinking everything is under control. Thinking they're different from the thousands of other people who tried capturing and torturing this fast and calculating creature.

They never learn. Always expect the unexpected, especially from the divine Night Dagger.

"So," I start while crouching down to his shaking figure. "what do you want me to use to kill you huh? Maybe a silver dagger, the same on that you coated in wolfsbane to torture me. Or maybe I should stuff wolfsbane down your throat?" I give the man a sinister grin excited to get the fun part started.

"T-this is a mis-misunderstanding." The man says while cowering further into the moldy wall.

"I don't think it is. Ohhh maybe I should use a sharpie!"I exclaim excitedly. "You know, once I actually used one to kill this woman. She was a spy." I say while recalling that day. "Damn, one of my best kills. When I picked up the sharpie she gave me a 'seriously' look. The poor woman died from a sharpie marker! That must be embarrassing." I finish my story with a giant smirk while observing the sweat pool of the man's fat forehead.

"Ple-a-ase, you don't have t-to do th-this." The man stutters out.

I let out a dark chuckle. "Actually I do. I can't just let you live now can I? That would ruin the Night Daggers' reputation." I state while shaking my head. "And that's a big no-no. So, maybe I'll use a sharpie. You don't have one laying around by chance huh?" I ask while maintaining a straight face.

Before I could hear his answer a loud bang rings in my ears and the man in front of me instantly dies. I turn around to look at the idiot who ruined my fun. "Seriously asshole? I was having fun." I whine while looking at Marcus.

"Your welcome for saving your ass." Replies the young man in front of me. Marcus is like my right-wing. He always had my back even though I don't need it most of the time. We've known each other for a really long time and he's the only person who knows my true identity.

Just like me, he had made a name out of himself. The day Dagger. I know, stupidest name ever but he chose it and refused to change it. He works during the day and me, at night.

So that's us. Night and Day Daggers. The assassins, murderers, killers, whatever you want to call us. We get the job done no matter how big and we never get caught. (Almost)
