Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Lunch
Ruvik's POV
"Come on man, let's go to lunch," Sebastian begged. I sighed and stared at the list of emails that awaited me. I had a shit ton of work to do since we just landed 10 new authors. That visit to Paris really paid off. Who knew there was such amazing talent hiding in the shadows.
"I have work to do," I said for the tenth time.
"You never go out to lunch with us. Please, just this one time." He pleaded. Another email popped up, I sighed and rubbed my face. I would never get any work done with him pestering me.
"Fine." I sighed. He cheered and clapped his hands. I rolled my eyes and sighed, sometimes I forget how gay Sebastian is. His scrawny figure is perfect for his girl-ish ways. He sways his hips when he walks and dresses very drag. In the workplace, he wears a suit, but he still wears makeup. I don't have a problem with it considering I own the place. People really had a problem with him being full out drag so we settled on a compromise. Other co-workers get what they want, and Sebastian still gets to look "fabulous".
I groaned as yet another email popped up. Sebastian tugged at my arm trying to get me out of my seat. I caved and let him pull me out of my office. My poor computer, I can hear her calling daddy's name already. I never leave work unfinished. It's a huge pet peeve of mine. Of course, a quick lunch wouldn't hurt anything. Besides, I am starving.
"Where to Sir?" My driver asked me. I looked towards Sebastian and arched an eyebrow. It was he who dragged me from my office, he should decide where to go.
"My girlfriend just started working at this restaurant called 'Castellanos'. I figured we could go check it out." He said with a shrug. I sighed and motioned for him to get in the car first. I slid in after him onto the fine leather seats. As soon as my door shut I got out my phone and started to go through my emails. There was a shit ton of events planned that I have to show up to. Most of them are grand revealing of books my company has helped publish. Since I published them, I have to show up at every event. Usually, it's not bad. However, as I said, we just signed ten new authors.
"Oh my gosh seriously?" Sebastian sighed.
"We are not there yet so shut it," I said while I typed away. He sighed again but remained silent. Sebastian knows when to stop bugging me. I let him get away with a lot of shit. However, he knows his limits. I used to train Sebastian as a sub. That's how we became great friends. At one point I decided dudes weren't really for me anymore so I stopped training them. Sebastian stuck to me like glue and we've been friends ever since. He's still looking for a dominant. I told him that I would keep an eye out. I don't have any subs anymore. They're just too much time and I am basically married to my work.
"We're here!" Sebastian screeched. I winced and grabbed his knee. He whimpered and winced.
"Sorry Master." He whispered. I let go of his knee and got out of the car. The place we were at was some Italian restaurant. The smell was magnificent. Sebastian wrapped his arm around mine and guided me through the door. The smell of heaven hit me in the face. My mouth was watering within seconds.
"McGryer," Sebastian said. The perky hostess smiled and motioned for us to follow her. She had a nice ass that I wouldn't mind pounding. I bet I could get her number by the end of this lunch.
"Your server will be right with you gentlemen." She said with a brilliant smile.
"Wait. Can you make sure Nessuno is our server?" He asked as he slid her some money.
"Absolutely." She said and walked away. I watched as she swayed her perfect hips. It was like she knew I was watching.
"Who's Nessuno?" I asked once the hostess was out of sight.
"My girlfriend, she works here. Remember I mentioned her before we came?" He said while he looked at the menu. I nodded and opened up my menu. Everything here sounded exquisite.
"Sebby poo!" Someone cheered. I looked up the see the biggest whale coming towards up. She smiled and held her arms up to hugged Sebastian. The flab from her arms hung low, making me want to barf. How can so much fat be on one person?
"Hey, you bitch! This is my boss, Ruvik." Sebastian said and turned towards me. Her shit-brown eyes found mine as she extended her hand. I couldn't help but look at her in disgust.
"I didn't know they served pig here," I mumbled. Her smile dropped as she looked towards Sebastian.
"What?" He asked in horror.
"I said, I didn't know they served pig here. Is there another server? I don't want to have to look at this disgusting creature any longer." I said towards Sebastian. His face paled as he stared at me in utter shock.
"I'll go see is Brittany is available. It was nice seeing you boo." She said and kissed him on the cheek. She walked away, more like stomped, and disappeared from view.
"Might want to go sanitize your cheek," I told Sebastian and began looking at my menu again. He still stood there, causing me to glance up. His entire face was red.
"You are such a DICK!" He spat and stormed off.
"Sir, is there a problem?" A bulky man said. I glared at him and he shifted uncomfortably.
"Yeah, you hiring pigs. Is there someone else who can take my order?" I said calmly.
"No. What you can do is take your snobby ass out of my restaurant," he said angrily.
"Excuse me?" I said shocked. I stood and towered over him easily.
"Get out. We don't tolerate discrimination here," he growled. I scoffed and stared at the short bulky man. He was like an angry midget. Instead, I got out my phone and made a call.
"Reynolds." My second in command picked up.
"I'm interested in buying a company. Get it at any cost." I said while staring at the midget.
"Alright. What company?" Reynolds, my assistant, and best friend asked.
"Castellanos," I said.
"Okay. I will see what I can do," he said and hung up. A few minutes later I got a text confirming the purchase. I guess the owner couldn't turn down my offer. Turns out, he's been looking to sell this establishment for a while so he can retire. Right on time as usual.
"Now I own this company. Fire the pig." I said coldly and walked out.
