Vodka & Lime

1926 23:53 - A dark alley somewhere in central Europe

"Hey Vodka, are you sure this is the right one?", the dark silhouette of a person pointed at a small blue door at the end of the alley.

"Affirmative. That must be it!", Vodka answered confidently while looking around if they are alone. "Did you check the area, Lime? Are there any potential threads or witnesses?"

"Negative, Vodka!"

"Okay. Let's approach with caution. I don't want to experience what Whiskey and Orange had to go through."

The two dark silhouettes came closer to the blue door. Lime took out a lock picking kit and within a second the door was open. He slowly turned the doorknob and opened the blue door. Both took out their guns when entering.

It was a rather small door but the room behind it was more like a garage or a car shop. One big room with machinery of all kinds and a small staircase on the opposite side that lead up to an elevated room. There was no one around but both, Vodka and Lime, felt a certain kind of tensity in the air.

Vodka and Lime are in no means unfamiliar with something they would have called "supernatural" back in 1926. They both wore night vision devices that look like simple sunglasses, their guns are solar-powered laser guns, and they used other amazing gadgets that the public person could only have dreamed of in that time. Still, something felt different that night.

"Lime, be careful. Switch to x-ray and report if anything relevant happens. The machinery down here is useless. I'm going up the stairs."

"Roger that." Lime touched the side of his glasses and it switched from night vision to x-ray. He was searching the elevated room for any suspicious activity.

"All clear, Vodka!"
