Start

My shoulders shook as I walked into the halls. In the morning, it's usually not so crowded. It's the opposite at the end of the day.

My backpack weighed me down and bent my posture as I continued into the hall. I tried to get to my locker but a kid about 3 inches taller than me pushed me aside. I stumbled a bit, then stabilized. I waited till he was finished.

There was ignorant smirk plastered on his face.

"Sorry about that." He snickered. He was lying.

I didn't respond and started unpacking my things into my locker. Another year, another constant bully. Great.

"I'm Mason." His voice was deep. He has tanned skin, wears a black hoodie, black jeans, and looks like a pedophile.

"Ok." I responded. I shuffled to my first class.

First thing I noticed, the corner seat. I take it since nobody sits around it and smiled on the inside to myself. There was an energetic kid with glasses jumping around the room collecting names. I looked around the room and smelled the heavy layer of deodorant in the air. I laughed to myself.

I opened up a book and started reading. It was awhile until I noticed a guy had sit 2 seats away from me. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt with blue jeans. He was solving a rubix cube. He noticed I was staring.

"Hi, I'm Gabe."

"O- oh, hello."

"Andrew! You missed one!" Gabe said loudly. The somewhat cute energetic guy who collected names pranced over to Gabe's seat. I sense gay vibes.

"First, scramble this."

Gabe passed him a rubix cube and the said, Andrew started mixing the colors.

"You too."

He tossed me another, the one having more cubes. I quietly whispered, 'Huh.'

"So... What's your name?"

"Uhhhh..."

"I'm Andrew if you didn't already know."

Andrew was kneeling in front of my desk, because of my slouching, we were at the same level. I tried to curl up as much as I could but my skills were probing to be unsuccessful.

"What's your name?" He persisted.

I stammered a bit then mentally slapped myself.

"T- Thomas!", I whispered, then quietly handed Gabe back his toy puzzle.

"Nice name..." then Andrew left and the teacher came in. Class started.

Bloodlines

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

jeannie2244: Such a different story from your usual love story. I love stories that aren't just a cookie cutter romance with the same story line and predictable. This is unlike any I have ever read and so nice to read something new and refreshing.
