Storie one - Daisy daisy

On Halloween night after the last burst of trick-or-treaters had visited. Mum blew out the candles in the Jack-o-lanterns on the front step she said " lets have some hot chocolate and pumpkin spice cookies that grandma made? and tell some scarie stories"

0

My 12 year old younger sister and 8 year old little brother both screamed " yesssssssss" and jumped around the living room.Grandma Dora chipped in " but not to scarie or the youngsters wont sleep"

0

After we had all calmed down and were snuggled in our PJ's on the sofa or arm chairs with a mug of hot chocolate and a plate of cookies. Mum asked us " Did I ever tell you about Daisy?" We all said "No"

0

So mum began " When I was a little girl an auntie of mine told a storie about a beautiful porcelain doll called Daisy's."

0

"Did you ever see her?" asked my little brother

0

"Yes" said mum '' she was an old porcelain doll about 18" tall with an old fashioned lace dress, boots and a straw hat" grandma said "ow, wait" and rushed out of the room, we could hear her rummaging in a draw and then she came back clutching an old photo album. After she sat back down and flipped a phew pages she held up a page with a picture on it of a little girl stood next to a glass display case with a doll in it. Grandma said "there, this is Daisy and your mum"

0

My younger sister said "Creepy" and my little brother said "wow, she's scarie"

0

"Indeed" said mum "well, as you can see she is no a normal doll. She has been handed down mother to daughter aunt to niece down the female line in our family. With each new generation the stories about her grew and developed."

0

"Like what? Asked my younger sister.

0

"Well" said mum "theirs stories of people waking with scratches on their back or moving on her own when no one could of moved her and the Most scary one of all, the one when someone was driven to madness ? She said. Then slurrped her hot chocolate.

0

We all lent forward on the edge of our seats, the only noise was grandma Dora's knitting needles clicking.

0

And then my little brother sneezed and we burst out laughing.

0

My little brother popped up "yes, tell us that one" " okay, I think I can " mum said then slurrped her hot chocolate and munched on a pumpkin spice cookie.

0

" Right" said mum"my Aunty sue inherited Daisy before I was born. My aunty had heard stories about Daisy and because of that she kept her in a locked wooden box under her bed. She told me that occasionally at night she had woken up hearing the box rattling as if Dsisy was trying to escape. Her younger brother thought she was winding him up and said she is just a stupid doll.

0

One day while my Aunty was at work and her brother was at home he stole Daisy's box and snuck it down to their dads shed, he broke the lock off and took daisy back to his room. He spent a phew minutes looking at the doll, shook her, used her as target practice for his mini tank and then when bored with her trough her in the back of his cupboard and forgot about her.

0

That night when everyone was asleep, my uncle woke up to a tap, tap, tap sound then a small giggle then silence, then after a short pause tap, tap, tap then a giggle and the creek of the cupboard door. Then the giggle got louder and closer. My uncle was getting scared and pulled the bed covers up over his head. The tap, Tap, tap was know at the head of his bed right by him and the giggle was almost in his ear, then he felt the bed covers start to be pulled of off him and he started to silently cry.

0

As the covered slid of off him with a giggle. my uncle tried to escapt jumping from his bed but falling over as he felt a stabbing pain in his lower legs but quickly stumbling to his door, screaming and crying. "Help, help, she's going to kill me" he screamed.

0

The whole house was awake and my Aunty and her brother were know sat on their parents bed as they attempted to calm him down and look at his wounded leg, once he was softly sobbing and mostly patched up my aunty when to his room to find out what had happened and as she lifted his crumpled bed sheets from the floor she found Dsisy and a bloody kitchen knife.

0

She returned to her parents room to show her parents what she had found, her brother saw the doll in her hands and freaked out trying to escape the rough their bedroom window, cuttings bed more. An ambulance had to be called , as he was know bleeding heavenly again and completely out of it with feer.

0

After he was all down up and medicated he managed to tell his parents and doctors the storie, his parents know of the stories about the doll but the doctor suggested he stay in and spend time with a psychiatrist, the trible is he was never the same again and has spent his life in care, my Aunty has spent her life blaming herself.

0

From then on Daisy has spent her time locked in a glass display case with a large worning sign and this storie on a black as a warning so no one disrespected daisy again.
