The Entrance
You've heard of all the fairytales and Rhymes since you were a kid, but there are some that shine more than the others. For example Goldilocks and the three bears, and the three little pigs. But do you remember this particular rhyme? There was a little girl and she had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead when she was good she was really good but when she was bad she was horrid. Well that little girl was me Abigail Curly new student in Storybook Academy, from hearing that name you can tell why it wasn't put in the rhyme. No one really remembers my rhyme I mean I have grown up a bit more since then, I’m just a rhyme written to fill in the blanks. In storybook Academy we are all separated into different groups there are the High readers, which by the way the name sounds they are the highest in all of storybook academy, like all the fairytales that are read by all the kids around the world. They are basically the popular ones of the school, at least in my opinion they are it’s not like they’re full of themselves. Iv’e got to say tha some of them are actually really nice and prepared to take on anything that the world throws at them, I call them the confident bunch which unfortunately I am not apart of. Then there are the goslings which are mother gooses main rhymes like jack, and little red, and Goldilocks this group is also pretty up high as well, they are pretty full of themselves just because they are so well known doesn’t make them popular right? Like take Goldilocks her beautiful long locks are tucked neatly behind her blue headband, and her poofy white and blue dress is so elegant almost like royalty. She was a vision of beauty and that basically went to her head, she literally pretends I’m invisible of course she’s my older sister which made sense. No one would ever think of us as sisters although my hair was curly it was a mess how do you think that curl got there? My hair was dirty blond, but it was also full of dirt and my clothes even though I walked out of the house all neat I would arrive at school all dirty and my dress would be full of tears. So that’s why she pretends that I am nothing but someone beneath her. Then there were the troublesnares even though they were also pretty well known they were also the the troublemakers of all fairytales, basically the villains but not the super horrible ones. They were people like rumplestiltskin and the step sisters from Cinderella , they were basically the ones who cause trouble in every story. Then there were the apprentices they were much younger then everyone and they were learning their trade, no one of major importance was in that group not that I know of. Lastly there were the forgotten they were people who people have forgotten about and much less care about, they were people like me. Even though we know we are much more than what they have written about us, we are afraid to speak up but I’m hoping to change that! I walked down the hallways of the school admiring each and every locker that I passed by, they were all lined in gold trim with the names of each and every fairytale character engraved in it. I continued to walk hoping to find my name but every step I took the beautiful designs of each and every locker started to become less and less beautiful and my name was at the end of the hallway with my name stuck on the locker with a small piece of paper, it was all run down and rugged like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. I had to dig my small fingers in between the door so that I could open it, I pulled so hard that I lost balance and was caught by someone much taller then me with a firm grip around my arm. I held my breath as I turn to see who had caught me, when I turned to see who it was I resumed my breathing when Irealized that It was Jack you know the one who climbed the beanstalk? His eyes twirled like the beautiful sunrise and his hair was the color of a walnut so luscious and brown, and it curled around every angle of his face. Looking at him made me feel like I was going to faint, he stood me upright making sure that I could keep my balance but all that I could do was look at his charming face.
“ I hope you’re okay miss, just be careful with these old lockers they haven’t been messed with since the 80s,” he said in a soft soothing tone, he was no Prince Charming but man could he put you in a trance.
“ Hey Jack! Come on dude it’s time for athletics!” I turned to see O. King Cole, and B. B Bear motioning for him to go there.
He scratched his head than said “ sorry I didn’t get your name,” I stared at him a while before I remembered to answer.
“ My name’s” but before I could finish he was being dragged away by his friends.
“ Sorry! We’ll talk later!” He shouted as he was dragged around the corner, of course I knew better this was the last time that I would even get close to him.
