"I have read many incredible books on Inkitt, but this one has to be a personal favorite. The plot and storyline are so well put together, almost seamlessly. It's easy to get a sense of the characters and how everyone fits so perfectly in their place. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone and especially to those interested in fantasy. "

"As a full time writer (during Quarantine ha, ha) I'm always writing, its my addiction. I rarely stop to read, but when I do I make my time and what I chose to read worth it. I wasn't prepared to read about some memorable characters and a fae princess. How cool is that...? Even the history of the fae's and the dividing territories is sheer genius. (snap, snap). I love RAILYN, let me just get that out of the way. Head strong and vibrant. The way you describe her features is awesome in itself. The way she kicked that guard's butt when he tried to abuse her in prison was freaking amazing. And Lola reminds me of my dog Gizmo whom died from a hit and run 9 years ago, breaking my heart. I enjoyed this book, I hate that it wasn't longer. I say this with aplomb and joy: Thank you for quality work. You have a new fan and supporter. DAPHAROAH69"

Fae magic
"I like all the different elements of fairies, witches and halflings. They all have their own personality of various degrees. I would recommend this book to everyone I know. This is the first book I have ever read on this subject but I couldn't be more thrilled that I did. I will be reading more books like this from now on."

"I LOVE Lady Death!!!!!! Hannah Laine is an amazing author!!! I love this book! Each chapter sucks you in and the details make you feel like you are actually there. Her ability to world build is amazing! I want to go visit (most) of the places she describes. I think I would skip Arden though. I finished reading part one and can not wait until she publishes part two! This book has all of my favorite things: a strong female protagonist, a guy that the girl will eventually fall for, fantasy, adventure, romance, and action. Plus it involves Fae so bonus points for that!!"

"Lady Death starts out pretty dark, but I quickly got hooked, wanting to know what happens next to Railynn!!! Each character seems to be well developed and thought out! I love the writing style too!! It is so descriptive, it makes you feel like the places and people in the stories are real!! Also amazing use of writing in 3rd person!!! Most fantasy novels that I have read are all in 1st person. I feel like you get so much more information from it being written in 3rd person!! I wish you would go ahead and publish the next chapters!!! I am already hooked on this story and CANNOT WAIT TO READ MORE!!!"

Engaging Fantasy
"While this novel is still in progress, the existing chapters carry the reader along as details about the characters and the world are slowly revealed. The author clearly takes the time to develop her characters. There are instances where setting details seem slightly disjointed and there are some distracting grammatical errors, yet nothing that couldn’t be easily fixed with a bit of editing/proofreading and nothing out of the blue for a first draft. So far the plot is a bit slow as the main focus is on the characters, their inner turmoil, and their journey to the heroine’s home, but I’m sure more well defined external conflict and action is just around the bend. Personally, I love the excerpts at the beginning of the chapters, it’s a nice touch that really helps to make the reader feel as if they are visiting a whole new fantastical realm. This definitely feels like a first draft, but so far great job :) "
