His lips became one line, his eyes icy with contempt--she had clearly insulted him. He walked towards her and without a warning, pinned her against the wall. "I'll show you,"
Marahas siya nitong hinalikan. Bawat sulok ng katawan niya ay nalatayan ng mainit nitong halik. He punished her the only way he knew how...by making her feel loved.
Nang matapos ang pagniniig nila ay mahigpit siyang niyakap ni Marcus. "Why are you so scared? You're too used to pain that the first sign of happiness scares the living shit out of you."
"You can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved," were the last words she told him before disappearing.
He's right. She's scared.
And the only thing she knew how to deal with it was to run. And so she did.
