Prologue - Living Thing
A biology textbook once read:
“...All living organisms, including humans, exhibit the 7 characteristics of life; they move, respire, sense changes in their environment, feed, excrete waste, grow, and reproduce. An object must possess all seven characteristics to be considered living. If an organism possesses six out of the seven characteristics, it is not a living thing”
Now, nothing of the book was left except for the traces of its ashen remains clinging to a girl’s trembling hands.
