I glanced down at my phone, one hand on the wheel. The streets were already deserted, even though it was only 8:00 Wednesday night. I made a left at the one stoplight in town, searching the houses for my new address.

5 minutes and a lot of missed turns later, I pull up to a one story blue and white house.

The lamppost cast everything in an orangey light making it easier to see the three small concrete steps leading up to the door. I turned the ignition off and hopped out, grabbing Hunters car seat and lifting Dylan with one arm, letting her sag against my free shoulder.

I walked carefully, taking car to not wake them up. I set the car seat down and unlocked the door.

Walking inside, everything was fully furnished since I dragged all of us down last weekend to make today easier.

The door opened up to a spacious living room and had a hallway at the end that openly led to the kitchen. There was a small section of the kitchen cut out to be a small dining room. When you go through the kitchen, a hallway appeared which led to the bathroom and bedrooms.

I flipped on lights as we went and laid Dylan in the room the girls share before moving Hunter into the crib in my room at the very end of the hall. I made sure the baby monitor was on and clipped the receiver to my front pocket.

Walking back outside, I got a very heavy 8 year old Max out of the car and laid her in the twin sized bed she insisted be decorated with her favorite dancer sheets.

Making several trips, I grabbed the boxes with everything we waited to bring till this week, which was mostly just dirty clothes and soaps and other essentials.

I laid out all of our outfits for the next day, which I knew was destined to be chaos.

Even though it was pushing towards 11, I wasn't tired, so I continued to unpack the boxes and start a load of laundry. I then did the dishes which were mostly baby bottles and sippy cups.

Finally walking to my room, I took a quick shower and changed into pink and black plaid pajama pants and a black tank top.

Making sure my alarm was set, I turned out the lights and went to sleep.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
