The icy chill beneath my breathe
Fills the air with despair and death
Do not worry about that feeling so queer
For it is nothing except total fear
For your soul knows what in darkness may be
In the corners of your eyes do you see
Shadows creeping evermore near
The pain of the unknown doth sear
For I the reaper hath come
Your time is at end your body numb
Death may take you away this night
Just know in the reaper’s hands you will be alright
As your life ends another to begin
Will this new life be without sin
Can one truly know life’s peace
Without first having their existence cease
Rest easy now your time is done
Cut short by that gun
As you lay there bleeding out
